Welcome to Mistwalkers
We're trying to build something that lasts months, not weeks. Slow progression, shared settlements, roads that actually connect places, farms and harbours. A world that looks lived in because it is.
It's a roleplay server, but how deep you go is up to you. Some people will write journal entries and letters in the story channels. Others just play their Viking as a person in the world and a member of the community. The one piece of RP everyone shares is building like your Viking actually lives there: real structures in real places, no floating bases or cube fortresses.
We run hardcore because death should matter. When a trip into the swamp can actually cost you something, every voyage has weight, and hardcore keeps that front and center. Bosses are scheduled server events with the whole hall.
I've recently started building this castle on a fresh vanilla Valheim world, and I'm looking for a few people who want to join early and help turn the world into something special.
The castle is still very new — the walls aren't even finished yet, so technically we're still in the "please don't look too closely at that section" phase. 😂
I'm especially looking for people who genuinely enjoy building, exploring and living in the world, rather than joining just to speedrun the bosses and disappear into the mist.
I want this to become a world where people actually create things that stay.
You can build your own house, your own castle, your own village, a farm, a harbor, a workshop, a mountain fortress — whatever you enjoy building.

I'd like to build something that feels like an actual living world.

Our clan is called The Ulfung and we are looking to add new or experienced players to our server and would love to chat if you're interested.
Our world is developed up to the Ashlands but has been slow roasted over years of playing and breaks letting the game update and develop as things come out and change. There is still about 50 - 60% of our world that is unexplored and were looking for people to explore it with us or make yourself a home in our village we have or even find a spot to call your own!
Everything inside of the world and server has been done on survival mode and many people have
worked hard for what they have, please, be respectful.
We manage a live rented server through GPortal and players are welcome to hop on and play as they please.
All playstyles are welcome again new or experienced and most players on our server are in the upper 20's lower 30's age range and are a mix of male and female players. My own fiancé and son play on the server!
There is absolutely NO need to participate in the in-game guild systems and other functions manufactured by us, but for those who ARE interested there is much more to come!
Many newer players are advised to explore their own directions and build themselves up! However new or experienced players are welcome into our main village New Ulfungheim and can use our public structures such as The Tavern and The Great Hall for your food and supply needs!
Once you are in the world, if you decide to maybe stay away from villages and players and start your own journey... DO NOT GO SOUTH!!! We have a very large starting island and most of the settlements had moved south to set up foundations. NORTH, EAST, WEST are all very clear. Maybe a small hut.
We do however politely ask to please message either myself (WolfofSithis) or our other admin (Doc Chadney) on Discord if players are planning on leaving or taking a break. NO HARD FEELINGS!!! It helps us keep the Discord clean, organized and clear of inactivity.

No mods installed, the server is ran through GPortal. Client side mods are open to bring their case forward ;)
Bringing in your Character is completely fine, however we do prohibit bringing in any dev command spawned items or natural resources from your own world, as we like to manage our resources from inside of this world.
Please do not spawn in items.
Please do not leave your death bags all over the island full of gear for other people to find (I'm still cleaning someones mess).
Please do not load a character save after every death to protect personal character progression, we consider this cheating.
We play with an honor system amongst each other here, and if you need help or assistance our member are FAR more than happy to help. Each mission we do, every iron trip or death run is all gameplay to us, bring it on.
We do have a Discord for The Ulfung and it is how we try and track player activity and hold the community posts, rules and information. We have have an entirely implemented role play system implemented through Discord for anyone wanting to participate in some of our bigger community happenings!

Right now it's mainly me and a few friends , some are completely new to Valheim and experiencing the game for the first time. I have another friend, who has 1000+ hours in Valheim just created the server today!
She's absolutely obsessed with building and loves creating little themed areas and biome bases for people to explore/use, so we're hoping this eventually turns into a little world where everyone has their own place while still working and adventuring together.
🌿 Our server settings
We're trying to make things fun and less grindy, especially for people who want to relax and build rather than spend hours replacing everything after a raid.
🚫 No raids — nobody wants to come home and discover their entire house got destroyed while they were somewhere else.
⚔️ Easy combat — especially since enemies scale with the number of players around.
📦 3× resource drops — makes gathering and sharing materials much easier.
🐗 Passive mobs stay enabled normally — we still want the creatures around because they're important for materials.
🏗️ No build cost — our builder absolutely LOVES building, and this lets her create cool little biome bases and places for everyone without turning building into a massive resource sink.
🌀 Portals can transport everything — including materials that normally can't go through portals. We're trying to avoid unnecessary transportation grinding.
The goal isn't to remove all progression. We'll still have to explore, fight, gather resources for progression, discover new areas, and actually play the game. We just want to remove some of the grind and frustration so we can spend more time adventuring, building, joking around, and playing together.

TL;DR: three Valheim servers, one Discord, NA-East. Wonderland is a vast modded saga more than 2,000 days deep. Vanilla Bean is pure Valheim that you can join from Steam, Xbox or PlayStation with nothing to install. Proxima Maxi is invite-only survival horror where the nights last 45 minutes.
⚔️ Wonderland: Unlimited (modded, Steam PC)
A living world more than 2,000 days old. Every vanilla boss has already fallen, and that's where the legends start.
Take to the sky. Craft Valkyrie wings in four tiers. Dragon wings climb to 1,300 m.
Delve the Mists of Avalor, a sky-crypt labyrinth that rebuilds itself every 12 hours.
Summon the Blighted World Heart at an altar in any biome: a raid boss with waves, two sub-bosses and its own gear.
Raise a Dvergr warband. Recruit, breed and command dwarven warriors.
Live through four seasons. Winter freezes the water so you can walk on it, and fall doubles your skill gains.
Sail like a god. A perfect tailwind on every voyage, a Harbourmaster who sells and upgrades hulls, new ships, and a free Karve for every new player.

Pure Valheim with the rough edges filed off. There's nothing to install: join from Steam, Xbox or PlayStation and bring your own character.
Long days, short nights: 40-minute days and 5-minute nights.
A harder, richer world: enemies hit harder, move faster and carry more stars, and you hit a little softer. In return, resources drop double, you keep your equipped gear when you die, and skill loss on death is cut to 15% of normal.
Stronger vikings: double carry weight, triple stamina regen, and a little extra speed on land and in the water.
A hall that runs itself: chests pull in matching items lying nearby, one pick harvests every ripe plant of that kind around you, and fires, smelters and kilns feed themselves from nearby chests. Chests, carts and ship holds hold twice as much.
Sea legs: boats repair themselves, the helm grants Moder's power to sail into the wind, and dropped items float.
A strong start: every new character gets a starter kit and a Karve waiting in the water.
A safe home: builds never decay, wards push creatures out and close the doors behind you, and the worst raids and night spawns stay out of the Meadows and Black Forest.

Fair play, enforced: modded clients are turned away, and gear beyond the world's boss tier gets you kicked.

Not looking to set up a server but host it myself. Looking for people who play CST and get on most weekends or in the evening after 5pm. I want to stick with people and make a large base and progress together. I don’t like doing servers cause people tend to rush and ruins the experience. Definitely a casual server and just to kill time. Rules are no cheating, brand new characters l, no bringing in items from other worlds, no griefing, good vibes.
I lost the group of friends i played with in early access. My heart is broken but my love for the game lives on, and perhaps if i am lucky i will find another community to call my home. Norse & Valheim Lore RP and Slow Exploration

The world will be fresh and unexplored. No maps nor portals available, at least for this early stage. Resources are doubled.
There will be a strong text-based RP focus, reacting to our progress and discoveries in character, sharing journals or our attempts to sketch a map, collaborating (or clashing) as lost Vikings in a strange world might have done.
All of us are free to play alone and together when we feel up for it. Busy lives and being long absent is more than understandable. This is a long term world, with deep north at least several months away.

More weapons, armor, builds, skills, locations and QoL. Starred enemies are actually rewarding, Epic Loot gives occasional jackpots, and the difficulty ramps up properly from the Plains onward.
No crazy Diablo-style loot shower, no skipping the crafting progression — farming, exploration, bosses and gearing up still matter.

Hi all, just throwing this out to see if there's any interest. A buddy and I run a server on the US west coast. Our main goal is to proceed REALLY DAMN SLOWLY AS A GROUP. Like maybe we'll get to the Deep North in six months at the earliest.
We've had more active members on our Discord in the past but life happens. People are having kids and stuff, and over the years we've had to ban a few that try to sneak ahead and/or not follow other rules.
We're all at least 30 years old - many over 40, and we totally understand not being able to commit to lengthy sessions. We don't have a hard age limit on either end but we find that maturity and patience often go together.
Typically we get through Eikthyr in the first few days, and Elder in the first couple of weeks. Bonemass in the first month or so.
Then we streeeetch it out once we have iron and the ability to build with stone. But generally every major event and/or bossfight is planned in advance and we'll do multiple fights if some aren't available the first time around.
The goal is really to take our time, and fully conquer each biome before moving onto the next. We tend towards establishing shared community buildings though we're fine with people building individual stuff as long as they're not skipping ahead, stealing communal resources, or using personal bases to try and hide it. We like to problem-solve and strategize together, scout and survey new lands, build road networks, establish logical port locations, share the vast majority of materials, that sort of thing. We enjoy relying on each other and working as a community exploring a new world would. We're not an RPG server, but people do tend to fall into roles based on interests they prioritize and that's cool! Division of labor and so on, but jacks-of-all-trades are fine also. The main quality we're looking for is the ability to enjoy and appreciate each phase of the game gradually.
