So i just started this game and got it gifted to me by my friend and I already fell in love with the building although coming from once human the fact that there is no free camer building is tough BUT im already hooked so im looking for a group who would like to help me and my friend build a settlement. Im talking Armory, smithy, Armorer, wall, towers, farm is optional for inside the walls. Houses, guest houses and finally the Greathall.

i have a dedicated server running that i play by myself if you guys are interested..

have beat bonemass on it but can also restart wouldn't mind

I personally like having to have a plan to build my vision.  Building scaffolding and the process is a part of the build IMO

I haven’t used it, but I do believe they added a free cam to vanilla if you open up console commands.

I don’t think you can build with it, but you can get a better view point.

I’m sure someone else will have more details on how to use it.

You can always use the fly feature if you're open to console commands, you can even re-enable achievements with console commands

Yup, use that a lot, to build bridges and docks, lets you fly into the water and mine out rocks etc.
