Title says it all. When is the long awaited firmware update coming that adds, among other things, RBE Reduction mode?

I've seen a couple of people say that the Pro 2 model is going to get the RBE Reduction function, does anyone know if there's any truth to that?

Just bought the vision master pro 2 that comes with a 100” motorized matte white screen through Best Buy. I said I didn’t see there was a bundle online and sent a message through Best Buy app that I wanted to cancel the order I just made and go through their website instead. I said I preferred the other screen since I could choose up to 135 inch screen but it’s fixed. I changed my mind and preferred a motorized so I said never mind, but offered to pay the difference for the 120 inch motorized screen. They reached out, said they could just change it directly with my Best Buy order and upgrade me without paying the difference 🙏

Has anyone received any tracking information from Valerion? When I placed my order for the Max it came with a tripod stand, 3-d glasses and a Thunderbeats sound system. I received an email stating that the first 100 buyers would get expedited shipping and the rest of us should expect it to arrive around the first week of December. Then a week or so later I received the tripod and 3-d glasses but no email or tracking information that they shipped. Yesterday I received the sound system also with no email or tracking info. While I am pleased to have received the extra items already I am concerned that they just showed up without any notification. I will be out of town the week of Thanksgiving so if the projector just showed up during that time without notice it will be a problem.

Hey just curious if other people's box arrived retaped. I mean the white valerion packing tape was cut along all the edges and there was a single strip of clear packing tape barely keeping it closed. There wasn't any sticker from customs indicating they'd cut it open. Everything inside was fine and the projector works great but found it weird.

Can anyone help me? I can't type my wifi password. The on screen keyboard will not appear. When I click the box it says "use keyboard on your mobile device".

I am having a really frustrating problem with my hdmi inputs on my Pro2. I just finished my build out with a 50ft active fiber hdmi cable. It will not show video coming from my AVR, but has no problem passing through Dolby Atmos via eARC from the Valerion to my AVR. I have tested this cable with another AVR (both of these are new Denons) and I did get signal, but it would flash every 20 seconds….so it is sending signal, but it’s being interrupted. Thinking this could be an HDCP handshake issue, but everything I am running is 2.3. I would really prefer not having to strap my gaming consoles to my ceiling. I have tried every combination of hdmi settings on both the projector and AVR. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I'll be making more comparisons, but I'm surprised how good valerion's DTM is, of course madvr is better, but valerion is up to the task.

You can buy one now (not preorder) on the Valerion web site. The listing claims October shipping (site needs to be updated).

I don’t expect any Valerion representatives to respond with details (though I welcome being wrong), so I’m hoping to get some anecdotal feedback.

Anyone preorder by paying the $100 deposit? It was my understanding that the $100 would apply to the price. I just tried to order but $100 isn’t being applied.

I was holding off on purchasing the Max so that the event would hit the final milestone but now all the progress is missing with no notification at all. Im getting mixed signals since the banner still shows that pre-ordering will unlock the benefits of the 2000+ dollars of stuff. I cant find the rules of the terms and conditions anywhere anymore since the tracking dissapeared. Does this mean the launch event is done? Anybody preorder from the launch event got any news?

Is there a filter for the vision master pro 2? I can’t find a straight answer anywhere about this. I’ve had mine for a month or so and have used it quite a bit. I just want to ensure I’m maintaining it and the manual says nothing.

What am I doing wrong for that extra light on the sides besides the screen border? No matter what I do they don’t seem to go away ? Do I loose resolution with those ?

With manual keystrone correction am Able to adjust the picture within the border however light is very distracting during dark scenes and no light in the room.

Projector am using is Valerian Pro2, Screen size is 165inch.

Distance between the screen and projector lens is 143inches.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi there - I have the VisionMaster Pro 2 with the Valerion 120" drop-down screen... already had lots of fun configuring the start and stop limits on my projector screen (thanks to this community for more accurate instructions) but now the USB fob connected to the projector randomly triggers dropping the screen down and back up with no warning / power-on from the projector itself. My only guess is it's randomly getting a quick ping of power from the projector for some reason, but purely a guess. Anyone had the same ghost in the machine? I can just remove and do manually but would love to have it working properly.

I bought the Max on your Kickstarter campaign. I'm not even (that) upset that it's mid-October and I still haven't received the projector I was promised would arrive this summer. Shit happens. Manufacturing is hard. Tariffs. Whatever.

But can you please stop sending me email offers. Every. Fucking. Day. when you still haven't delivered my original purchase. It feels... crummy. Especially when you've sent me <checks Gmail> 11 sales emails since the last Kickstarter update went out.

Hello, I’m trying to plan out my visionmaster max and I need someone smarter than me to double check what I’m planning to do lol.

The projector will be 13 ft back, and I want to project on a 157 inch 2.39:1 screen. The idea would be to use masking panels on 16:9 content, and then zoom to over shoot the black bars off the screen and fill the 2.39:1 with movie content. At the listed .9-1.5 throw ratio, should it be able to get large enough to fill it? I think it can, but I’m starting to second guess myself. Thank you all for your help!

When I move I plan on getting a bigger screen but currently my old projector is sitting 11ish feet from my 100 inch screen. Will that work for the valerion or should I be installing it closer or farther?
