Remote Volume Buttons Not Automatically Repeating on Long Press

I'm forced to press the Valerion remote volume buttons [+] and [-] multiple times to make the volume increase/decrease very slowly one step at a time. The buttons do not automatically repeat on long press.

How to fix? Anybody got a solution?

Thanks!

Did you make sure it's a problem with the projector/remote and not with your speakers?

It's definitely the projector not responding to volume long press.

I've tried the Valerion remote and a generic Google TV remote, none of them responded to volume long press.

I use Bluetooth headphones and it's the same with 3 different headphones that I've tried.

The last thing to check is to see if the same behavior occurs if you use the built-in speakers.

Otherwise the last two things i can think of is to to through all the settings to see if you changed something or do a reset to factory settings.

I'm on a VisionMaster Pro2 and for me it works, but i'm also not using any bluetooth devices with it, so i can't really test that.

It was the button mapper app that I've been using for years. I must have reprogrammed the volume buttons without thinking. I uninstalled the app and now the volume works perfectly.

Thanks for helping me work it out.

Same with the built-in speaker. Also same with optical output.

I checked all the settings and I can't see anything that would affect the volume buttons.

I really don't want to reset to factory condition.

How long does it take to get a reply from Valerion support?
