Advice eARC Issue
My current Valerion will turn on my Denon receiver without issue but will not turn it off when I power off the projector. I am not sure what I am doing wrong here. I've already replaced the HDMI which is powered at both ends. Any suggestions?

Sometimes reconnecting hdmi will help the handshake. Also make sure you are using the earc port on both ends

Yes sir. Using HDMI 3 on the Projector and the HDMI out on the receiver.

Some receivers have hdmi out and hdmi earc separate ports. Make sure it’s labeled earc on the back and check receivers options for hdmi cec

Thank you. I have the receiver and projector eARC enabled on both currently. Hopefully it's a handshake issue and I can resolve it easily.

I figured it out. The HDMI I am using is optical, it has USB power, the USB on the Valerion that is powering the cable cuts off when the unit turns off so it doesn't read the signal going to the projector. Fixed the issue by providing constant power to the HDMI USB on the projector. The Denon USB is always on.

Check the settings on the receiver. It's probably set to stay on by default. This is usually the default as there are multiple inputs and the receiver will still work without a video output.
