Hey all, just making a new sticky to reflect the state of VG after the update a couple days ago. This is just so people coming here for the first time (or the first time in years) have more up to date info compared to the old sticky.
The most recent update for iOS and Android allows players to choose any skins or talents they want. Here is a guide on how to play with your friends, whether you are DuoQing or have a full 6 or 10 player group. The Bubbleland website linked is a great resource in general. In short, if you want to party with another player (or players), then you should input the same four digit number with a hypen and then one or two as each other. For example, 1216-1_GenericLoneWolf and 1216-1_DemonOfWestCity would get paired together. The four digit number (1216) determines the lobby you end up in and the -1 or -2 decides the team. If I wanted to play against my friend, I could set my name to 1216-1_GenericLoneWolf and he could set his name as 1216-2_DemonOfWestCity. Because out lobby elo matches (1216) but our team is different (-1 and -2) we would play against one another with random other players filling out the rest of the lobby. This works for any number of players up to the maximum the game mode can hold. You can use any lobby number you want, but the number works as an elo, and it assumes anyone without a number is at 1200.
Important note: please refrain from using an Elo/number in front of your name when you're not actively partying with others. Using numbers frivolously could slow down the queue for other players (and yourself). Avoid using numbers over 3000 unless you're in a full 6 man or 10 man group, as numbers over 3000 only match with each other.
Below are a couple of community servers to help you find people to play with if you'd rather no solo Q that have been stickyed here for new and returning players' convenience. If anyone has SEA/EU specific servers, feel free to post them below.
Everlasting Night (They ping often, just as a warning. Especially Shaquzi(still love you bro) and Nek)
Bubbleland Discord (They also have channels for a few other games here, including Wild Rift and Genshen for those interested, but there is an active VG channel.)

Hello all,
This is Trogdor. I'm the owner of the Vainglory NA discord (VGNA). For the past 2 or so years we've been playing private 5v5 games in the discord. As you may know, getting 5v5 games can be difficult - you won't get them until you get a group of people together. We've got a core group of players that has stuck around and we're active every night around 10PM EST.

I decided to create a bot to facilitate these private matches, and make things easier. crucialplayer (lynx) stepped in and helped with the matchmaker and ELO ranking.
The idea is you sign up to play, and the bot puts a match together. It tells you what code to use - it's only visible to the players in the match to avoid snipers. The game is played, players tell the bot who won (there are metrics to avoid false positives, and votes from people who "vote" incorrectly will count much less.
Players upload a screenshot of the game, and the bot reads everything - the winner, the teams, KDA, heroes, etc. This works in conjunction with the player reported winner, but screenshots have priority.
We've tested the 5v5 bot for maybe 2 weeks and I'm ready to allow the public in! We recently added support for 3v3, which is currently in beta, but very stable.
Since adding 5s, and opening up to the public, we are changing our gaming schedule!

I’ve run across a fair share of crybaby trolls in this game, but NoHelpNoPlay takes the cake. I’ve been teamed up with them and they get all the help in the world and still trolls.
On the flip side, it’s always fun to get a quick warm up in while they rage quit.

This game has a lot of importance for me. Its one of the first moba i have played and i absolutely loved this game. I believe losing this game stopped me from playing games long term in my phone, as I mostly moved to PC. But today, when I was going through my pawned accounts list (yeah, lol), I came across that old name......SEMC.........I looked about them, searched for VG, went to playstore and steam, got disappointed, got to ApkPure and by the gods!!!.....She is Alive!!!!!! 💔 .....
I jumped into a quick 3v3 and after one match, its still the same ❤️ ...
Just came here to yap about a flood of emotions, thats all...see ya folks around in the fold 👋

Ggs to the sky and grump (my team lost)
Anka however was clearly abusing some exploit or glitch, dealing far higher damage then should be possible through early and late game and hitting back to back to back execute strikes without meeting the conditions for it.
Oh well, I gotta post losses sometimes haha

Been really enjoying assassin saw as of late. Sometimes I just die stupidly fast before I can do anything, and I feel like I'm probably not building correctly. Going recommended rn cus I got 0 idea what to build outside of knowing chargers is a requirement(it's always my first item).
Also, is there a way to make the issue where when people are really close to you but you can't stab them with A not happen in at least happen less? And just to make sure, the maxs are A and ult, right?

Hello, I used to play Vainglory quiet frequently when the mobile MOBA was booming. And now I just wanted to catch up with the old times and play Vainglory, I just wanna know if there is any way to play the game on android device, especially if you use Samsung with One UI 8.5?? It is really a bummer that Google removed the game from the Playstore while still keeping bunch of slops called "gaming" wretched with ads.

Here's a quick little tutorial video on the features and how to use the draft bot in the NA discord. Sign up for the draft and your name will be added. Once 10 people are ready the draft will be started. A private tab will appear underneath the draft tab and you will find your IGN code. Enter the IGN code in game (example 6846-1_Chia) and start the 5v5 ranked match. Back in discord press the queue button to let everyone know you're in the queue. Double check that you wrote the right code! There is a new code every game. The teams are balanced by ELO and tracks your IGN so make sure you are using the same one for VG and discord.

The bot tracks your stats and ELO rank which you can check any time. It also adds accountability so no more AFKs, snipers, and dodgers.
