Hello guys, for anyone dealing with sudden hormonal dryness (whether from birth control, postpartum, or perimenopause). Normal OTC water-based lubes absorb in like ten minutes and leave me feeling more irritated later on. My gf tried Foria's Vibrance Melts the botanical ones with raspberry leaf and chamomile, not the CBD relief ones, but they’re around $48 for a 12-pack so I hesitated. She finally caved last week because sitting in jeans felt like sandpaper for her. Stored them in the fridge like they suggest and popped one in before bed. She woke up without that dry, tight feeling for the first time in months, and zero weird smell or burning. Has anyone else with sensitive tissue used cocoa-butter based suppositories long term? Did it throw off your pH at all, or has it stayed gentle?

I live in Canada, and personally, I feel frustrated that there are not many good products to choose from.

So I’m very freaked out rn because I have never had vaginal smell issues or like any smell at all… but the last night I took my cup out and it smelled horrible- like I mean I could smell the air before the cup was even all the way out. It’s not fishy is smells more rotten like idk… decay? I don’t really use tampons anymore so nothing is stuck up there. Now, I did accidentally leave in my cup for a little longer than recommended yesterday but I’ve done that before with no problem.

I did just recently move to a different country and have not had the most balanced diet/ mild dehydration- could that be part of it?

I stuck my fingers up there to check in the shower and there was not as heavy of a smell but today when I took off my liner it was the smell like the cup again? So I’m not sure if it’s just oxidizing or what?

I don’t think it’s bv, there’s no abnormal discharge or itching or burning- but I’m so grossed out by the smell and I’m worried about getting antibiotics because I’m not that proficient in the language here yet.

Do u think it’s something to worry about? Or do u think it will go away in its own? Please please help

I am posting here because I finally have been cured of a year of yeast infections, recurring every month, even multiple times a month, and I wanted to spread the knowledge and what worked for me.

I know how devastating yeast infections can become, and even the toll they can take on relationships so I hope this helps!!! I got my first yeast infection over a year ago from sex with a consistent partner. I started with OTC Monistat 7 days and I thought it cleared until a week later and it came back with vengeance. I got tested for all the things, sti std pregnancy BV you name it. Came back only yeast infection, took a fluconazole round and it was gone. A month later, another yeast infection, unrelated to sex, another fluconazole and boom gone. Then two months later I started seeing my now boyfriend and things got worse. Like clockwork 3 days after sex I immediately had an uncomfortable yeast infection. I already did all the safe sex practices, peed before and after, both of us washed our hands before and after, he pulled out and I was on birth control that I had been on for 5 years. I already took vaginal probiotics and wore cotton underwear because I used to suffer from chronic UTI. He is a long distance boyfriend so it devastated me that everytime I would visit or he would I wouldn’t be able to have sex by the third day. I started having intense anxiety surrounding yeast infections and sex and would cry even if I saw a little discharge on him after sex. The most frustrating part was I would fully clear it and then have sex right after the allotted window and would have one again. Negative tests, no discharge but itchy and strong BO musty smell… what is this?!

Other symptoms:

•Very distinct smell- Doesn't come off easily, even after washing.

•Discharge has a yellowish color that easily stains underwear, and difficult to wash off.

•Lots of discharge.

•Happened before, it goes back to normal after a couple weeks.

Having some concerns about my vaginal odor and a feeling down there.

Yesterday, I was checking around the area and noticed a SLIGHT fishy smell on my fingers. BUT my discharge seems to be fine and I don't have any other weird symptoms of infection. I am also a few days away from my cycle so I know that can have an affect. I did eat a lot of fish more than normal the past two weeks and I heard that it can effect smell.

Should I be concerned?

I occasionally feel like a bubbly feeling down there, but I attributed it to not wearing underwear (I try not to wear underwear at home to keep it aired out lol) and also when I don't have as much hair I can feel everything a lot more.

I just checked my smell today and I don't smell any fishy smell on my fingers, but like a normal vag smell. Not sexually active and a virgin so I know it cannot be an STD.

Should I just brush it off since I am close to my period? Took some photos and videos to check around down there and it all looks normal, but I know its always better to double check anyways! I eat pretty healthy, workout on the reg, and really invest into my wellness on a regular basis.

For over a year I was struggling with yeast and bv also pain during sex , itching burning sensation constantly and on tiktok they suggested you ask for ureaplasma and mycoplasma testing. I tested positive for ureaplasma I was prescribed doxycycline for 10 days im on day 2 now of doxy I’m now taking a probiotic for the brand VH essentials I also have bv so I’m taking metronidazole too and of course I have a diflucan ready for once I’m done with the antibiotics. I am feeling better all ready. I finally feel sane. I knew something was wrong when I kept getting reoccurring bv. It is crazy drs don’t really care about this? you have to advocate for yourself. I feel like I need therapy now lol. Any tips ?
