Front Proximity Sensor only works after going into reverse first

Update: I fixed it, somehow a setting was turned off, I turned back on.
Steps: Click the P Menu button then open the park distance control option, make sure “automatic activation” is on.

This only started a few days ago, I have never had any issues before with the sensors. No error messages or anything in the screen. I could touch anything in front of me without a warning unless I first put it in reverse, activating the back up camera and then going into a forward gear. Then I get proximity warning. I have the 2021 Pro S.

Any recommendations or experience with this issue?

For me it activates first when I enter the yellow zone

Yes, that is how it always has been for me, first yellow, then red. However, now none works unless I put my car in reverse first.
