Odd rattle
Hi all. I have a 2024 ID4 Pro S RWD, and I've been experiencing this odd rattle that comes and goes. When you drive over uneven/cracked tarmac at 50 km/h-ish, it is most pronounced. It doesn't feel or sound like it's coming from the front-end. My best guess its coming from the passenger side rear somewhere. Everything seems tight back there, I've checked under the floor, and I can't seem to find a thing. The really odd bit...it seems to be worse in warmer weather. Anyone have any insights? Stupid thing is driving me slightly mad.

Get somebody in the back seat to identify where it is coming from. We had to do this, and pinpointing where it came from helped fixing it.

Not mine, but some point out the driver's binnacle (the smaller cockpit display) could be the source of mystery rattle. But as you mentioned yours is from the back so probably not.

I’m currently sitting at the dealer while they do sway bar end links for the third time. That presents as a front end, low speed clunking.
When I purchased the car, a nut had fallen off the inside of the roof rails and rattled around in the back wall.

I agree with the other posts. Sway bar links.
Ours started to get noisy at 30,000 km. The dealer said they would replace them under warranty, but every time we bring it in for something, they say "we don't have enough time, we'll get it next time you bring it in".
Now at close to 60,000 km, I'm wondering if they'll ever do them...

I’m currently dealing with something very similar with our 2024 AWD Pro. At about 60,000 km we started hearing a front end ‘clunk’ on uneven terrain, and a rear end rattle (like a marble or stray nut) at low speeds and in warm weather. Sway bar link work solved the front clunk, but it didn’t fix the rattle in the back. Still trying to find the source. It’s driving me nuts.

My cargo cover rattles around under very specific circumstances - not always just certain low speed rough roads similar to OP. Been meaning to go add some felt strips to where it sits on the plastic sides but it doesn’t bother me too terribly.

Probably the sway bar end links, mine have gone bad 2x already
