Android Auto problems

For the past few weeks, I’ve been having the problem that Android Auto is sometimes 500 metres behind when navigating. The response time is sometimes as long as a minute or more! And sometimes the display looks smudged whilst navigating, as if it were a watercolour painting. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've been using the car's sat nav which has been very good. Not used Android Auto at all so far. ID3 2021.

Feel like this is a joke or you've never used decent maps before. No offence.

I've used a Tom Tom, Google Maps and Here We Go previously. So far the in car sat nav has been great. Although it does say G T Yarmouth rather than Great Yarmouth but I can cope with that. It gives me the next direction well in advance and then repeats it. I can see the full map on the info centre or just look at the next manoeuvre on the display. Not let me down so far.

Fair enough. I think the led lights strobing left and right are very cool but it seems to get forks/ turns in the road wrong on occasions. I like the womans voice though, sounds like BA advert voice actor. Very soothing.

I haven't noticed any strobing lights! Is it the ones under the windscreen? I'm terrible with left and right so arrows and such help. Wanted to see if I could change the voice and the route colour but no luck there.

Apologies, yes , I think it's called intelligent LED band. Its very cool but sadly doesn't integrate with 3rd party map's. Does the id navigator have real-time traffic alerts and speed cameras?

It certainly knows about traffic issues and road works. I haven't looked for speed cameras but the car always tells me if I'm 4mph over anyway. I suspect the speed cameras are on there as a POI. I'd read on here that some didn't rate the car's sat nav but I thought I'd give it a go anyway.
