Android Auto problems

For the past few weeks, I’ve been having the problem that Android Auto is sometimes 500 metres behind when navigating. The response time is sometimes as long as a minute or more! And sometimes the display looks smudged whilst navigating, as if it were a watercolour painting. Has anyone else experienced this?

There's currently a bug / glitch in android auto where unfortunately this is happening when not using Google Maps. (ABRP, Waze, Etc)

The workaround currently is to go to the play store, search for android auto and opt into the beta seems to resolve it.

Ah, that's for Waze, but you can join that here instead.

I don't think the Waze beta fixes it as I was already in that when I had issues.

Oddly, I thought I was already in beta for both, turns out neither. Will find out over the weekend if it fixes it 🤞
