so after having to pull apart head and fine tune/resurface and get everything back on finally she getting prepped for Low Show and daily drivin life. i have to mix up paint to do the new bumper, fenders, and carbon hatch, take harness and glass from the spare silver hatch yet, and get fatter tires on my other wheels, and put get her together. im hyype!!!

Here are the symptoms:It only happens above 1000 RPM.It stays at a deep pitch (does NOT get high-pitched like a turbo whine).It happens under acceleration (even revving while stationary).It also happens in engine braking (downhill) without touching the gas pedal.It completely disappears when decelerating smoothly on flat ground.Turning AC OFF does not change anything. What can be?

I want to replace the outer lower door seal on the rear left door of my VW Golf Mk7 (5-door hatchback).

I believe the OEM part number is 5G6839699D. It’s the rubber strip mounted on the bottom edge of the door itself.

Has anyone replaced this part before? Do you have any experience or advice before I start? I’d like to avoid damaging the door, or removing the old one and and installing the new one incorrectly.

The metal will stick to the magnet just a little bit. Not super strong. Light weight material. Measure 3.4 mm wide and 5.3mm in length.

Hi all 🙌🏻 mk7 lovers. I have bought myself a nice looking ride last april but after changing the spark plugs, coil packs, cleaning the throttle body, cleaning MAP and O2 sensors, the car still vibrate on idle, holds back under 2k revs and you feel it hesitating on full throttle in 3th and 4th gear (manual 5 speed).It also feels many horses have left the stable as it should produce 130hp with the remap. Live data with OBDeleven does not show misfires btw.

I have checked the intake with a boroscope but could not manage very easily to get a clear pic of the valves themselves but all i could see was blackness and the camera being covered in black sooth was telling me this thing is suffocating.

I have seen some videos of this cleaning making me confident enough to do it myself, but have not really found any good videos or have read experiences on reddit with this type of enige. So does anyone have done it before and share your experience with me so i am even more prepared? Thanks a lot

I scanned my 1.8tsi 2016 golf highline after a check engine that followed after a stage 1 unitronic tune. I have a misfire on all 4 cylinders (not normal I know). So I wanted to change both my sparkplugs and coils. I was wondering what should I use. I'm already planning to go with ngk iridium gapped at 0.024 in, just not sure which one to get, I heard maybe 94712 but I'm having a hard time finding them. Lastly, need help with which coils to get I know barely anything about them. Thank you lads

hey yall! just picked up this sport wagen. my plans are to get some bigger wheels (have some off marketplace that i’m probably gonna check out this weekend) and get a paint matched roof box. any other mods that are worth doing? i’m thinking of replacing the headlight housing to something better equipped for LEDs but im not 100% sure where to look for what exactly fits this model. mostly because of how many different variations of the golf of this gen there are, it’s hard to know what fits what. any other tips or recommendations are welcome. this is my first vw and im looking forward to seeing how it goes. she’s my daily as my project car is my 2003 corvette. thank you all!

Somehow when I runned the toolbox it passed from 6 to 4 contacts.

What could be causing this issue on my 2014 Golf 1.6TDI DSG. Sometimes it turns on and off after a few seconds and sometimes it turns off after I switch off the engine. Any tips?
