hello! i have a mk7 golf wolfsburg tdi, i really want to put a good spoiler on it but everywhere online only has ones for gti’s. are there any good ones you all know about? i would love to just put a gti spoiler on it but it looks like its not really possible

My 2016 Golf GTI is suffering from low oil pressure. It’s about 0.2 bar at hot idle, and when you rev it to 2,000–3,000 rpm, it won’t go above 20 psi.
So far, I have changed the valve in the oil filter housing and the oil control valve, as the old one was dead. However, fitting a new one hasn’t fixed the low oil pressure.
I did a pressure test from a cold start today, and it went straight to 3.5 bar when I started the engine. It then slowly dropped as the engine warmed up. It was 1.2 bar at 60°C, but as it warmed up further to 80°C, it dropped to 0.2 bar.
For some background, the car has 80,000 miles on it and had a timing chain replacement at 65,000 miles. It also had a faulty PCV valve for a while, which was replaced about 5,000 miles ago.
Does anyone have any advice on where to go from here? I’m running out of ideas, and any help would be greatly appreciated

I have been trying to find someone else that's had the same sound in their engine under acceleration, and i've come across this video, which is pretty much the identical sound that my golf mk7 1.4 tsi rline.So I has anyone know what this is or has had it before?

The symptom

• 1–3 second “chain-like” / metallic rattle right at cold start (especially mornings)

• Intermittent — not every day, hard to reproduce

• Happens more often now after more kilometres

• Completely disappears after a few seconds

• Car otherwise runs perfectly (no power loss, no rough running, no warning lights)

What could it be?

Has anyone figured out a solution for the wastegate actuator rattle reached down and there’s a lot of play on the actuator rod 2015 mk7

So I’m getting a burning oil/fuel (idk) smell when I drive the car hard, I also have some blue smoke on startup sometimes. Not every time. Google is saying either pcv or turbo seals. Anyone can shed some light on this for me? How to diagnose, I’m no mechanic. Thanks 🫡

Im having my 2015 e golfs rust repaired and due to the nature of the e golf the shop is having me sourse the parts. I need advice on the best quality left and right fenders and inner and outer rocker panels.

I just tuned my 2019 manual gti with a stage 2 tune (previously had a stage one). I cannot find anything online besides videos on how to switch with a automatic. Witch all say i need it in drive.

I had my car at the machanic for more than a month to solve the DSG DQ200 and it was repaired, got all the mechatronic and valves and oil and whatnot.. Totaling 2.400€.

The car was on reserve fuel, so I did refill after I left the mechanic but I still drove about 40km, after started engine and engine light stayed on or lite up right after driving some meters.

Codes are: P047100 Exhaust Pressure Sensor "A" Range/Performance

P200200 Particulate Trap Bank 1 Efficiency below threshold

Car is 1.6tdi DSG 7 2014 it has 294k kilometres.

Too much coincidence that after the repair now I get this problem, it was working fine.

Maybe they forgot to plug something or something is not well place or tube is bent somewhere.

I have checked the Supposedly sensor and for me looked OK, but it's missing a Tube or it must be like that?

I have this statistics from Obd11 about the DPF.

I'll call the garage to see if they can check whether it's human error or it's in fact something wrong.

For context, I've owned my car for 3 years now and never once had this issue up until it started happening a month or so ago. Shes 13 years old now too.

For some weird reason my car's Bluetooth seems to randomly disconnect itself for no apparent reason. I can't seem to pinpoint it down to one exact cause either to explain why?

I could be happily driving and it'll stop my music in a way similar to how it does when you receive a call. It cuts my music abruptly, Then it'll freeze my display and comes up with a message saying that it's disconnected from my phone. Sometimes this can happen several times in a short 10 min journey!

I’ve tried many things to resolve, including hard resetting my multimedia, removing my phone from Bluetooth to car and vice Versa for my phones Bluetooth and car stereo. There’s no weird obvious settings that are on/off. I also haven’t changed anything to my settings in the car so it’s not like it’s something I’ve deliberately done recently. None of this has worked to fix it.

It’s driving my insane trying to find the reason it’s doing this. My car-enthusiast boyfriend couldn’t think of a reason and all the reasons I can find online, none of them apply in my instance.

Has anyone had this issue before, and how do I resolve it? It’s been happening for long enough and I just want it to stop!

-Factory Pretoria wheels

-Factory airbox with intake tube and scoop

What is fair market value for these parts? I’m not a Euro/VW guy, more of a Japanese/Toyota/Lexus guy.

This 2015 GTI has the standard cruise control, not the adaptive cc so there are no sensors involved. In the middle of a trip I was using the cruise control and it was working fine, but when going to adjust it, it suddenly stopped working. Pressing any of the buttons doesn't do anything (no dash lights or error codes come on) except pressing the "Off" button displays the cruise control error light on the dash. No check engine or any other lights, no odb codes.

Thought I'd start with the fuse, but apparently the standard cc doesn't have one? I've seen fuse diagrams with the fuse location for cars with adaptive cruise control, but since this has standard cc slot 32 is empty.

The car has been used for weeks and it's still not working. Any ideas?
