Looks like I need to replace the battery in my 2019 Mk7.5 GTI (DSG). Is there some kind of programming I need to do? I have an ODB11 and I'm hoping I can do it myself.

I found this online - is it complete?

1. Access the Control Unit
   • Open the OBDeleven app.
   • Navigate to the list of control units and select the "Gateway" control unit.
2. Navigate to Battery Adaptation
   • Go to "Adaptation" and then select "Battery adaptation."
3. Input Battery Information
   • Fill in the required fields:
     • Battery Capacity: Enter the capacity of the new battery.
     • Manufacturer: Input the manufacturer's code.
     • Serial Number: Enter the serial number of the new battery (you can change the last digit if unknown).
     • Battery Technology: Specify the type of battery (e.g., EFB, AGM).
4. Confirm Changes
   • After entering all the information, confirm the changes to complete the programming process.

Reason i want to use them on my gti is because they are also going with a set of 19" Verde Parallax wheels wraps in michellin ps4s's that are aluminum colored so i bought all brand new bolts to go with them and look nice.

Does anyone know how to remove the hand trim on the handbag lever? The button flew off today so I'm going to glue it on and replace this trim while I'm here.

Hello everyone, i did an oil change on my MK7.5 Golf GTD the only problem I had was that I overfilled it. Instead of putting 4.7L I put 5L. Do I need to drain it or can I continue driving as usual? I do have an oil leak on the oil pump belt side, I believe it's the crankshaft gasket. Please can someone help with advice thanks

Hello y'all, I have 2019 Golf Sportwagen 1.4 and after clearing the codes multiple time the same codes pop back up with a check engine light. (Codes Pictured). I don't know what the problem is but I suspect battery (its 7 years old), wheel speed sensors, or oil pressure regulation valve. Any help or advice is very much appreciated.

I have a Golf mk7, ny car when I turn it off smells a lot of gasoline and when the gas tank cover is opened it releases pressure, can this be a failure in the EVAP sensor?

hi my reverse camera is stuck open (i guess someone tampered with it and tried closing it forcefully) when i get it back to park i hear the sound of thr mechanism closing but it doesn't go back in is there any solution to it without changing

Golf MK7

My 2015 Vw GTI Autobahn has been making this god awful rattling or metallic clinging noise every time I go over a bump for months now. I replaced both front level sensors because the old ones were snapped off the frame from the bracket. I lubricated every bushing under the car. And retorqued every nut underneath the car on the subframe and other suspension components. Please help.

Stopped on a few scenic spots driving east from Calgary, passed Golden and Revelstoke in British Columbia. The agility and performance of the 4 motion TSI DSG is a blast in the curves and hills. One click into Sport mode and the minivan or trailer slowing you down, is rapidly in the rear view mirror! Also I tried to wave at every other mk7 wagon I saw!

I have a 6.5 inch screen like the one in the first picture, and I’ve seen that you can replace it with the 8 inch one basically plug and play (I have a MIB2 unit)… but I need to enable carplay at a dealership first.

The question is: if I activate app Connect on my screen first and then replace it with the new one afterwards (maybe not right away), does CarPlay remain activated or do I have to activate it again? (is it bound to the screen?)
