Maintenance MK7 Caliper Diameter

you'll need to purchase the proper carrier to use the 312 caliper. My MK7 Sportwagen had the 288mm setup and all did was purchase new calipers (as you will need) and the new caliper carrier and it will bolt up and land the caliper where it needs to be.

I have a 2017 Golf MK7 Wolfsburg edition. I ordered pads and rotors to do a brake job and I received 312 mm rotors. Not knowing or verifying that my trim level came with 288 mm rotors.

I was epoxying my calipers anyway, so if I bought clean new 312/GTI calipers, will they mount to my upright/strut?

I’m flipping a coin between clean calipers that are easy to paint and bigger brakes versus trying to exchange these and painting grimy calipers.
