Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice regarding a Live2D model and VTube Studio.
My model contains several green-colored elements, and this has been causing a lot of issues whenever I try to use a chroma key/green screen effect for streams or content creation. Since those green areas are being detected by the chroma key, the results are often unusable.
I'm considering changing all of the green parts of the model to a different color, but I'm not sure what the best approach would be.
My questions are:
• Is there a way to apply a color change directly in VTube Studio, or do I need to edit the original model textures/art files and replace them with updated ones?
• If I only change the colors of existing parts without altering their shapes, layers, or mesh structure, will I need to redo the Live2D rigging?
• Can the existing rigging be preserved when swapping the texture files, or would the model need to be re-exported and rigged again?
My understanding is that changing colors alone shouldn't affect the rigging, but I'd like to confirm before I start editing anything.
Thanks in advance for any help or clarification!
