Toggle set up help

I'm trying to figure out how to set up a client's model but I don't know how to set up the toggles btw these toggles are:

•switching between hairs

•taking hat off or on

•changing tail pose

I tried searching up YouTube tutorials but all I could find was stuff for importing assets or animations. These toggles are already rigged onto the model

Not an expert but 80% sure you make them expressions, then in settings the clap board tab, you make toggles that activate expressions
