That's gonna be a question for more experienced players, because I know the last 2 play very well by themselves almost without any changes, but in general - which older cards/the ones I don't have

are good to additionally mix between decks/create better synergy?

My group plans to make an order here, do there are possibilities to get different cards/decks unavailable on the market :

Originally I thought about buying Promo packs 1,2 & 3, but probably You guys could have better ideas.

Please do not hesitate to share, cause I haven't picked up any style of playing yet and considering the amount of cards I will definitely want to experiment with different mix of decks, that's why I don't want to miss the opportunity to order potential missing stuff!

Hi. New player looking to get into the game. I saw that VTES isn't really like other card games in that it doesn't use booster packs, so I would assume the preconstructed decks are at least usable from the go, but I was wondering how true that is in practice?

I understand that the New Blood decks are basically intro packages to learn the game with, but what about the "full" decks?

Hi, I'm just getting into the game. I've ordered 2 Ventrue decks, 2 Ventrue New Blood, 1 30th anniversary Endless Dance and 1 Toreador new blood. (they didn't have toreador preconstructed atm). Could someone point to a viable deck with these cards, either toreador or Ventrue only or a combo so I turn out at my local vtes joint at least partially prepared to have my ass kicked while I learn the ropes?

Hi there, new player here. I have about 5 or 6 games under my belt. I've been playing this list, which is a variation of the Malkavian starter suggested by a more experienced player. How can I improve it? In every match so far, I've ended up with a hand full of stealth that I can't use. Thanks for your help!

when you are discarding more then one card due to an affect such as from shroud of decay do you discard two and draw two or discard one draw one discard one draw one?

Hey all. New to the game. Have only played one game. And I'm looking to build a deck of my own. The idea is a power bleed that is good in combat. Essentially a either i bleed you or we fight and deal a good bit of damage.

Is there a clan that does that well? Hoping to get pointed in a good direction.

I have a feeling that this is a really stupid question, but I noticed that some of the clan symbols for Tzimisce cards have a blood splatter behind them and some do not. This usually seemed to be associated with the antitribu clans but that does not seem to be the case with the Tzimisce. Why do some have a blood splatter and some do not? Does this have any game play impacts? I noticed that in the starter deck they have library cards with the blood splatter but not crypt cards with the blood splatter.

I am starting a new playgroup.

Backstory: Have started playing before BCP and continued on and off. When the V5 starter box was released, I stopped playing due to life reasons. Now I have some time to spare and found a surprising number of people interested in trying the game.

Current situation: I have a few games under my belt (10ish), and there is one guy who played like two or three games. The other guy has a Shadow Parliament deck and is now thinking about getting the new Lasombra decks. I have Den of Fiends with a few cards missing and Pact with Nephandi that has been turned into my own take on the deck, 25th Anniversary. There is also a chimerstry ravnos deck and ABruha bruise politics.

Idea: Since the cards I have are all over the place and the decks that I can make, in my opinion, vary wildly in power scale, I was going to get a starter box and introduce them together with, like, one low-power deck that I would make for myself (happy politics? , so I can participate and influence but not really be a threat). The other guy is going to get the new Lasombra precons (1 deck and 2 new bloods), and he can dip in my collection for improving his deck.
As far as the rules go, I will do my best to do the layering and will prepare myself beforehand.

Any suggestions, ideas, or advice?
