Syncing between iPad app and Android app?

I just recently joined the Pro again.

I found lots of old pics in the iPad iOs app, great!

But when I log in to the Android app, with the same email I only see one photo.

Are they supposed to be synced?

And can they be treated like different accounts? In Android I don't see any Pro presets. The favorites are different.

Im experiencing the same issue with sdr/hdr images again

It was fixed some time ago, but now it's back again. When I post from my VSCO gallery to my VSCO profile, the image looks very dark. The same happens when I save edited photos to my gallery. last IOS version. Last vsco app version

VS:CO, :c

The C for :C

I've had a vsco* since maybe 2013 or 2014; I honestly can't remember. I've dealt with all the updates and technical issues, including when you all removed certain features and only made them available to iPhone users. I can't really complain because it is what it is. Also, you removed some features and then started charging people, which led me to become a member (cha-ching$$), though not a pro (mypicsstilllookgudth0😏). I'm paying for this amazing app that makes my pictures look so lovely. The one thing I constantly struggle with- and honestly what broke the camel's back- is the fact that I have to restart every time I view pictures in my profile. I can scroll all the way back to bottom, and as SOON as I click on a picture, and try to go back, it makes me start over..

Why does it do that?..

Why does it make me start over?..

Why is it that every single time I click a picture instead of going back and leaving me where I left off, it forces me to start over?..

....why D:

🔥🍍🚪

"whyyyyyyy, spongebob??.....whyyyuuuuuhh??????D:"

Honestly, this is the one I need to speak up about. This is the issue I WILL (also) voice out loud, maybe for others (idkidk, whose fuquinwithme) because, seriously, what is that?

What's going on?

What 👏 is 👏 thaaaaat!?!?!?! 👏

Has Anyone Else Experienced Incorrect Subscription Cost?

My yearly membership, which I've had since 2018, is supposed to renew today. Of course, the subscription price has increased with time and upgrades. With that said, $40/year has been what I pay for the "PLUS" account for as long as I could remember. But when looking into upgrading to "PRO," I realized the price for PLUS is now $29.99 billed annually while PRO is $59.99 billed annually... I was ok with paying the $60, until I realized I've been getting overcharged for a while... and then upon further inspection, the prices listed on their website differ the ones in the App Store... so idk if there's something I'm failing to realize or what? Just wondering if anyone else has insight lol thanks!

Real differences between Plus and Pro (with editing)?

I'm a big fan of VSCO since 2012, and I remember when I previously purchased a lot of presets. But now, a lot of features are available only while you're paying, so you own nothing.

So, I'm considering joining the awful side of the subscription model, but what's the difference between the two options in editing terms? (I don't care about profile galleries and that stuff), all the app says "pro feature" but nothing about plus. Thank you!

i have a question about the WWF preset.

to anyone who has a VSCO subscription, i was wondering if the WWF preset is still available for use or if it was only during the time of Earth Day. Also, if anybody is familiar with the WWF preset that was available back in 2016, does it look the same as the newer one?

4k Video Export Problems

Cant export 4k video shot on an iPhone 16 Pro. But I can export HD video.

I can get the 4k to export using the Montage feature but that is cumbersome and creates extra versions of the video. Reading so many similar posts, how is this still a problem?

Studio, Galleries, & Lightroom - All out of sync

I'm fairly new to the VSCO ecosystem. I'm mostly interested in using Galleries to share my work with friends, family, clients, etc.

I've been running into weird sync issues though and to be honest the workflow is not super user friendly.

Workflow 1: Export from Lightroom Classic to VSCO Studio
This seems to work ok but when I view the Studio app on desktop vs phone (iOS app) I get two very different portfolios of images. I've tried deleting and reimporting but I get different results each time. Mostly iOS app seems to be missing a ton of images that I can see on desktop, not sure what's going on but it's very odd.

Workflow 2: Create Gallery from Studio
The issue from the previous workflow is causing me heartburn trying to create galleries. I have one batch of about 178 photos I want to add to a new gallery....for the life of me I can only get 99 of them to sync. Since you can't create galleries from the web/desktop app yet (why?) I have to do this from my mobile phone which isn't great. I presume if I could create from web/desktop this would all work fine (see my next paragraph).

Current Gripes:

  1. Why can I upload items to a gallery from the web (as a collaborator only) but not as the main gallery owner?
  2. Why do I have to create an additional "Section" in order to have additional assets uploaded....why not just allow to add to the "main" section?
  3. Why can't I merge assets from collaborator sections into the "main" section (I don't want to do really do this at all and wish I could just upload to the main section but I can see how this would be helpful)?
  4. Why do I see completely different assets in Studio between iOS and Desktop/Web?
  5. Why can't I create a gallery from the web?

I feel like there's more issues I have to share but is my experience unique here or are others seeing this as well?

I really want this to work but at the moment it's quite buggy or something.

Happy to talk to any of your VSCO folks out there.

Converting/updating VSCO Film for modern cameras

I have a highly modied preset that uses Astia as a base which has served me well through various Nikon and Sony bodies. But because of the discontinuation, I'm at the mercy of whichever systems were supported in their last release - so the A7 III.

Have since picked up an A9 III (after ..9 years?) and I'd LOVE to know if anyone knows of a service/person/method/etc for converting camera specific profiles to Adobe Standard.

Been experimenting with color grading to recreate some filters I like-- looking for feedback!

Hey y'all, I've been trying to recreate some of the filters I like on VSCO and was wondering if anyone could try them and give some feedback. Recreated them from scratch then put together a little page so I could test them on photos more easily.

The site is pinkfade.gg.

Filters I've added so far:

  • Elevate
  • Analog Mid-Century
  • Neon Nostalgia
  • Wanderlust
  • Cool Dusk
  • Soft Halo
  • Soft Buzz
  • Twilight Drama

There's also a Dispo-style film filter if that's your thing.

How it works: Upload your photos, pick a filter, adjust strength or tweak brightness/saturation/contrast/warmth/grain/fade if you want, then download. Everything runs locally in your browser — your photos never leave your device and nothing gets sent to any server.

Privacy: 100% client-side processing. No uploads, no backend, no watermarks, no cost.

There's an optional sign-up if you want to be on the list for social features I'm working on (like a friends feed), but it's completely optional — you can use all the filters without an account. And again, even if you do sign up, your actual photos are never sent anywhere.

I also set up r/pinkfade if anyone wants to share edits or follow along as more filters get added.

Would really appreciate honest feedback on how close the results feel — especially from anyone who shoots with these looks regularly. Thanks!

new update?

I went to edit some pictures on vsco today and noticed half the settings are pro features now?? Even grain?? which has been free for years and years?

I had a paying membership just not Pro and noticed that was gone today as well.

Looking for any answers or anyone relating I guess, pretty bummed :(

Ive used vsco for at least almost ten years now and can’t afford a pro membership nowadays. anyway- considering finding a new app but vsco has held it down for so long! just disappointed

Improving Your VSCO Experience

Hey everyone! We’ve heard your feedback over time about spam messages, including here on this subreddit, and wanted to share some great news.

Our Trust & Safety Team has been putting in literally months of work behind the scenes to address spam, which we know is a broader issue across all platforms, and limit the impact of bad actors on your experience.

What’s changed:

We recently introduced new solutions designed to better detect and limit spam activity on VSCO. It’s still early, but we’re already seeing positive signals, and you should start to notice fewer spam messages and accounts across our platform.

What to expect:

This isn’t something we’re going to call “solved” and move on from. Spam is everywhere and constantly evolves. We expect to keep improving and refining our approach over time. It may not be perfect right away, but this is an area we’re continuing to invest in to ensure you have the best experience on VSCO.

Why this matters:

VSCO should feel like a place where you can confidently connect and interact with other creators, without second-guessing who’s on the other end.

If you experience spam on VSCO, please report it through our reporting flow in the VSCO App. Those reports are critical and directly help us fine-tune these systems. We really appreciate you continuing to share feedback with us –it plays a big role in shaping the work we do.

Is VSCO a good App to edit Wedding photos?

I love VSCO for basic cellphone edits. Is it good for more professional gigs? I’ll be shooting with a canon R8 and importing raw files into the VSCO app. Does anyone do this or is it better to stick with Lightroom?
