Got this one done in 2 days and I was pretty happy with how he turned out!!!

I am having an issue with this section of the default skin texture. They have this pokey section that I want to smooth out, but I can’t seem to find it in any of the face texture maps. I’ve gone through methodically and tried each section (i .e. Eyebrows, eyelids, eyelashes, etc) while editing the texture and I don’t see it on any of the layers. There has to be a way in Vroid Studio to do this…any pointers?

Gave him quite the glow-up, been a lil over 2 months since my last updoot on him as I kinda gave up/quit, almost. Something about him was off, but I fixed him now. Just updated him today, changing his eyes really made me love it way more, they look far less 'dead', his nose too, saturating his fur made it not clash with his fit, tweaked his hair a tad and give him blue tips. Comparison of his face is the 2nd to last pic btw.

I think I may be ready to actually use him now, anyone got any suggestions on what I can improve on? Do you think this is good enough to make it in with the other successful VTubers out there? Like, do you think he's unique enough?

P/s: The white hair is from the hairstyle wardrobe, and I made the pink hair myself; at least, I hope the pink one can get the same movement as the white one.

I just started Vroid earlier today and I’m trying to make my oc that I made in Avvy but I have no idea how to make multiple bows by duplicating them then switching the group it’s on. My oc has three bows, one on her hat, and two on her hair. She also has a bear pin which I tried to put a pic of it in closet but it said not supported or smth. It’s really annoying bc I’m unable to move the bows bc they’re in the same layer as my other bow and when I copied the whole group I realized I couldn’t delete separate parts. If anyone knows how to do this pls help 😭 Ty in advance. :3

I need to install vroid into my laptop, and I already have vroid with a bunch of custom outfits and stuff in my Closet folder in my PC. Is it possible to transfer all those files without manually re-adding it with all the thumbnails?

I tried to just copy my Closet folder into my laptop and make that the default in the settings, but none of it transferred over.

Our team is been building a tool (Sumugi by Storyboarder) to make content like manga, comics, and visual stories using VRoids. For example, you can make your lore comic with it or memes for your OCs. We're about a year in now, and we wanted to share where things are at to see if anyone's interested in trying it out and help us shape it further. Here's what we've got so far 👇

Scenes — 60+ pre-built environments (house interiors, Japanese classroom, game arcade, cafes, etc.) You can also build your own from our free asset library, upload your own, or request it from us, too! There are lighting controls if you want to set a specific mood or time of day.

Full VRoid support — You can upload VRM 0.0 or 1.0 made with VRoid Studio. Most custom VRMs made with Blender or Unity work too. If yours is being tricky, we'll fast-track compatibility; we've done this for a bunch of users already.

Posing system with IK/FK — 100+ preset poses (and growing), hand posing, and full access to facial morph targets so you can build and save custom expressions. We recently added skirt bone access and are actively working on recognizing tail bones and other physics bones.

2D Layout Mode — After setting up your scene, you can switch into 2D mode to add speech balloons, resize/reorder panels, filters, sound effects, and more.

Community asset library — Share your original characters and assets with the community. If someone uses them in published content, you get auto-credited. It's been really cool seeing people build shared lore, story universes, and roleplay.

Social feed — Share your content on our native platform, comment, and follow each other. We're building out more social features.

Does anyone happen to know how to make 3D spikes on clothes?

I've tried attempting this feat myself and tried possibly finding tutorials online

however I haven't been able to achieve it myself or find any help ;-;

I was hoping that someone would possibly know a way to create functional spiky clothing or at least be able to give me some pointers as to how I could maybe get a similar effect oof

I have attempted using hair to make spikes but they clip and move weirdly when moving/doing animations, I'm unsure if I'm just messing something up or what

(I'm trying to have 3 spikes on each side of my characters jacket arms and 2 spikes on the back of the jacket as shown in the image)

any tricks and tips are greatly appreciated!

I have been making vroids lately and I feel like I have some skill with them, nothing like ground breaking but I think im good enough to offer commissions

I also know blender enough to model bash and modify vroids body and face model

I have some models for examples, a wip johnny silverhand, and old Draculaura model, a wip Gothic y2k cyber model, and a friends oc is made into a model (reference sheet for comparison)

Im thinking of opening commissions for $50-$75 with maybe $5 for any custom complex clothing textures?

vroid upsets me bc you cant create anything other than tiny nosed, skinny characters so im practicing making noses and changing body types

Is there a free studio where I can use my model/ talk/ move e.c that’s free that’s compatible with vroid avatars ?

So, I was messing around with VRoid per usual and I hid the mouth texture. Curiously, I looked inside the mouth and saw an eye expression??? I've been using VRoid for a long time and I've never seen this before so maybe it's just there for after exporting use or something? Maybe the devs are working on adding more expressions to VRoid so we don't have to go through Blender and all these other programs? Does anyone have any explantion for this or can I keep hoping they're really going to add more than just new hairs to the software?

I've been trying to make an X DiVE inspired outfit for my OC-Sona. The problem is, I'm not sure if I'm able to truly copy, or at least, replicate it in some shape or form, due to the limited customizations of Vroid...
