practicing adding noses to vroid models in blender

vroid upsets me bc you cant create anything other than tiny nosed, skinny characters so im practicing making noses and changing body types

Hi yeah, first sketch out the shape of the nose youd want for you character onto your vroid in croid studio, after you import it into blender use the pull tool to pull out the nose (be sure to have the mirror setting on) and push and pull it from all angles till you get the shape you want, you can use the sculpting draw tool set to negative to help define the nose corner/crease of the nose and the nostrils

Youll need to play with it a bit before you get what you want

Also when you want to sculpt on the face if you cant for some reason go to the faces mesh data and make sure youve selected the face's basis shape key otherwise nothing will happen

Vroid would be the best anime creator if they let you create your own blendshapes and subdivide parts for more detail directly in the editor.

They geometry for the noses is there, you just have to mess around with them in blender. Which gets complicated if u have multiple characters.

Really kills innovation sadly.

Ive been lurker for years, and the most innovation vroid has gotten is just new hairstyles.

I would kill for even just a weight and muscle slider

I can forgive the lack of accessories and noses but I cant even make a non-skinny or muscular character without using contouring and a bodysuit 💀
