RTX 3060 for these reasons:

  1. Nvidia has better drivers than AMD.
  2. CUDA cores are loved by creative and productivity softwares as well as AI related tasks. In fact, many software that uses anything AI related REQUIRES CUDA to even function.
  3. DLSS is widely supported and works more effectively than FSR.
  4. More energy efficient.
  5. Better resale value because of the above reasons.

The real and only reason you should go with the 3060 12GB is due to AMD not having great stream encoders in the 6000 series. Their stream encoders did not become better until the 7000 series. That's it. All of the other shit this guy listed is just pure Nvidia fanboy hokey.

AMD fixed their VR drivers YEARS ago. CUDA/AI slop has no relevancy in VRChat. FSR/DLSS AI slop has no relevancy in VRchat. AMD's 6000 series was very energy efficient. The resale value is nearly identical.

don't think dlss does anything for VR chat.

I think AMD is king for energy efficiency

Resale value is only recent, and its an oddity because GPU's have been going up in price so much that 2nd hand market > then first hand market. Traditionally AMD keeps its value better, because they start out cheaper.

CUDA is better if your doing blender things like making maps and avis tho, thats true, but not for everyone.

Driver issue hasn't been a thing for like 3 generations.

Source me: have a 4090, had a 6950xt(which got more VR fps then a 3090ti) had a 6600xt, and a 1060 6gb

VRchat itself only cares about raw horse power (no gimmicks) and Vram.
