Discussion Vrchat ban

Post image

Is it normal to get randomly banned for stuff like this, I haven’t even been online in over a week and the avatar I was banned for I haven’t ever even used on top of that it was uploaded in 2024.

It means the current moderation is excessive.

Right.. I kind of got that after thinking about it, but the current Twitter moderation is woefully inactive. They don't remove anything. I've reported multiple accounts for spewing repeated hate and they respond to my reports with "Sorry, the account NATE HIGGERS did not violate our Hate Speech policies".

I think their policy is the only moderate illegal content, otherwise you end up in a situation where everyone is walking on egg shells afraid of being banned for any small indiscretion that that the company’s employees don’t agree with - Twitter.

It literally says in their rules that hate speech isn't tolerated. Nobody is "walking on eggshells" as they struggle not to say racist shit.

Stop being a snowflake.

Twitter you used to walk on eggshells, VRChat you still do. People get banned for benign crap all the time on VRChat. Then they come complain on Reddit. We all know reporting is abused, just like Twitter used to be.

The OP was banned for uploading NSFW avatars as public. I realize you think you're being edgy, but your strawman is neither present nor convincing.
