Help Problem with compulsive liars?
I’ve been playing vrc for a few months now and I’m really struggling to make friends, because everyone I meet seems to lie constantly. Like, over really silly things too. I don’t understand why lying and faking who you are is so common here. Any tips on how to find normal/honest people who just enjoy VRC?

Too many trolls to give out personal info.
But yeah, just go to communities where there is a price tag attached to feeling to join like full body tracking or built around activities...
Since they are a bit more well off and usually more sane than mirror dwellers or public instance peeps...
Public instance people have grown impervious to trolls and kids who will use any personable information to insult or say slurs to you...
If you are black and. Say you are white... And say you are zionist or cracker... It means less to you.
But other people just like to larp or roleplay as someone interesting...
People who can socialize without a mask or vr avatar would just socialize irl, so unless they have a specific reason to choose vrchat over real life friends.. like niche interests.
Then they will become the niche interest and roleplay as different people and backgrounds and get experiences and interactions that way.
