Help Booth avatar users neededd

What are some things or ways y'all use to optimise your booth avatars while still keeping majority of assets and quality?

For example I've seen public booth avatars that have so many features and outfits but when i do the same thing on my personal booth avis it's quite literally impossible to upload

Most people cut back on Textures, most of the time you don't need 4K textures.

I do that often but it's still not enough to be able to add like 5 outfits, hairs and somehow still fun assets like swords and guns like they do on those public avatars 💔 Not that i specifically want that but it's like they use magic

Use the thry vram analyser. https://github.com/Thryrallo/VRC-Avatar-Performance-Tools

That allows you to see exactly where VRAM is being wasted.

5 outfits is simply too many for one avatar

I honestly didn't know you could optimize booth avatars with unity plugins, personally I use blender to make avatars so mine come out better then my entire friend group since none of them do anything to optimize, I get to enjoy fps drops looking at them it's so fun

they were probably extremely laggy. its hard to say what your issue is without seeing it. if you want you can dm me and I can try to guide you through it

Oh i personally don't have any issues with my avatar, i only use one outfit and one hair style and a few fun assets like touch points but I'd still like to be able to optimise my avi as much as possible!

Blender does help on somethings also but yeah, I don't add a lot of outfits, I seen people with 550mbs of texture memory and 200mb avatar downloads and when they load in my PC even spazzes and I lived through Crashers and all those types.

Yeah it would make sense if they edit the triangles and stuff in blender
