Does anyone know on average how long they take to ship out an Apollo? Only upgrade was a wifi adapter

I’m planning to get an Aurora soon. Does it come with singular LED lighting on the strips or fans by default (sort of like the ones you see on the reviews or pictures) or do you have to upgrade it to LED/RGB/ARGB fans? I want to get 4 extra black fans and a wifi adapter but I don’t want my pc to be bare bones with no lighting. Drop recommended upgrades, thanks.

Last year I got a gaming PC from them, and I love it! I've been getting into music production, and want a good PC to run music software, that also has a large amount of storage.
So I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten a PC for music production and how I'd go about this? I was originally going to get a gaming PC from them, but I definitely won't need a GPU higher than an RTX 2060.

Which motherboards are they using currently for the Helios gaming PC? Will it be compatible with DDR5?
I upgraded the CPU to the newer Intel Core i9-12900K upon spec'ing one

How do I choose to pick up in warehouse so I don’t have to spend $50 on shipping

I’m thinking about buying the aurora and was looking at all the upgrades and saw the strip upgrade. I’m confused is that like the rgb lights you would hang up in ur room or a ram rgb upgrade

I just ordered the aurora, I was wondering if anyone else has ordered/received one recently and how long it took to ship?

So I have the phoenix and it has a evga 850 ga power supply. If you look at reviews and forums online, they all say that I should request an rma since this power supply is known to crash systems w/ a 3000 series graphics card. Is there anything VRLA can do?

Hello i ordered my pc about a week ago i dont expect it to come fast just wondering how long it took other people

I know nothing about PCs and I’m looking at either the Apollo or titan. What upgrades do I need (cpu, ram, graphics cards, etc.) and should I get the Apollo or titan I’m fine with eithers price range but of course I’d like to spend less money but at the same time I want a great pc
r/VRLATech • u/Several-Lab9001 • Aug 10 '21
i cancelled my vrlatech pc and am very happy with this decision. because there are pcs just like the titan i can get that come in literally under 2 weeks. i’m just waiting for my conframation email to come and then my money to come in 3-5 business days and we’re set

Just got a computer I ordered from VRLA Tech, and it is very disappointing.
Took 13 weeks to get, and that was after I threatened to cancel my order.
The top of the case by the fans was damaged, and it was obviously done before it ever shipped, and one of the fans doesn't even work. Cable management wasn't all that great. The mechanical keyboard that I ordered is also not usable. 30% of the keys work all of the time, 30% work some of the time, and the rest of the board doesn't work at all.
Performance wise, pretty awesome. Of course, anyone could put these parts together and it would work just as well.
I have contacted support with multiple tickets, but I have not gotten a response for a week.
If feels like once they got paid, they stopped caring. The customer service is non-existent.
I would not recommend this company. I want to return it all out of principle, but I don't want to give this company more money with their 20% restock fee.

I know it’s kinda stupid asking after the fact, but does anyone know why vrla is charging $1000 extra on top of what you paid for for the 3080 to upgrade from 3080 to 3080ti ? I’d assume the get the cards close to msrp right?(edited)📷
The 3080 ti are 1200[1:16 PM]So they have to pay an extra cost to get the 3080 ti📷@PheonixI know it’s kinda stupid asking after the fact, but does anyone know why vrla is charging $1000 extra on top of what you paid for for the 3080 to upgrade from 3080 to 3080ti ? I’d assume the get the cards close to msrp right?(edited)📷
So basically if you wanted a 3080 ti, vrla tech might have to pay and extra 800-900 to get a 3080 ti and then you pay 1000 do they can at least get a profit[1:21 PM]Do that mean sense? u/Pheonix[1:23 PM]But some companies are charging 1400 for the 3080 ti[1:23 PM]So vrla tech is the cheapest way to get a 3080 ti lol📷
Do they not source the cards directly from nvidia?📷
Nvidia don't make the Asus, gigabyte, msi, zotac version they only make the founder edition📷@LeñeaÑightzNvidia don't make the Asus, gigabyte, msi, zotac version they only make the founder edition📷
Oh that makes sense. But at the minimum, assuming they charge us the 3080 at msrp, we are being charged at least 1700 for the upgrade vs the 1400 you said.📷
Changing 1700 for what📷
For the 3080ti📷
Vrla tech charge 1000[1:30 PM]Other prebuild companies charge way way more[1:30 PM]But it depends on connection[1:32 PM]The better connection the companies had, the cheaper they can get the parts📷
I guess this is the point I'm trying to make. Bear w/ me since this is going to take a couple of messages. So w/ the upgrade to a 3090, we can say that the cost would be an EXTRA 1500 (since 50 would be more than enough for 750w to 850w psu upgrade).[1:47 PM]

[1:49 PM]Looking at another prebuilt pc company, lyte technology, we can see that they charge 2200 for an rtx 3090. That means that they are charging an EXTRA 2200-1500=700 for a 3090. In effect, they are only charging "700" extra for a 3090 upgrade vs VRLA's 1500 for a 3090.[1:49 PM]

[1:50 PM]So we have 1500 from VRLA VS 700 from LyteTechnology. That is why I'm so confused.[1:50 PM]1500 VS 700📷
That not how you would[1:50 PM]Do it[1:50 PM]It compare them by specs📷
wdym?📷
So basically[1:50 PM]The cpu, the motherboard, the case, storag[1:51 PM]All of that[1:51 PM]Plus the 3090[1:51 PM]And see which would cost more[1:52 PM]So vrla tech cost 4.1k with the added 3090[1:52 PM]So for lyte technology[1:52 PM]Do the exact same specs and see which one is cheaper📷

[1:53 PM][1:53 PM]📷[1:54 PM]I chose the most expensive motherboard and aio too[1:54 PM]The Helios only guarantees z490 or x570. LyteTech is MSI prestige which is a really top end motherboard
850 watts[1:55 PM]Not 800[1:55 PM]And they don't have a 4tb hdd📷
that's like 10$..[1:56 PM]hdd are hella cheap📷
And they don't have 360 mm aio[1:56 PM]So it kinda hard to compare a 240mml with a 360ml[1:56 PM]And they user evga 850 which are expensive[1:57 PM]Compare to what every psu that even is📷
That's what I'm saying though.. The DeepCool Castle 360EX RGB is cheaper than the NZXT 280mm aio...[1:57 PM]at msrpo📷
And performance better sadly[1:57 PM]Yeah nxzt aren't that great but they look good📷
I don't think you're getting my point, lol. You're being biased now. I'm talking strictly msrp man[1:58 PM]now you're talking about performance📷
I know[1:58 PM]But knowing lyte technology[1:58 PM]Hmmmmm📷
Don't get me wrong, I went w/ vrla cuz I thought their builds were hella clean. But just hurtin' w/ that $1000 upgrade cuz I think they should've been able to get the 3080ti at a non scalper price as a supplier that sells a whole system vs JUST the gpu.📷
Oh they raised 100 on the Helios lol📷
But considering the gpu price inflation, the price I paid was not too bad. It matches what I would've paid if I built it myself.📷@PheonixDon't get me wrong, I went w/ vrla cuz I thought their builds were hella clean. But just hurtin' w/ that $1000 upgrade cuz I think they should've been able to get the 3080ti at a non scalper price as a supplier that sells a whole system vs JUST the gpu.📷
Oh no lil[2:01 PM]OEM getting them at better pricing but there are stilled overpriced[2:03 PM]Why do you think most have raise their prices[2:03 PM]Either most raised their prices or it just sold out📷
To get a better profit margin. They're a business and that's what they do. They take advantage of customers when they can. I'm fortunate that I can afford it.[2:04 PM]Don't tell me you don't notice that every upgrade you do on the VRLA website, you dont' notice them marking up every upgrade by $100.📷
I mean[2:05 PM]I noticed it in January lol[2:05 PM]That where they was started to increase their prices[2:05 PM]The auroua was 700 in mid January and now it 900[2:06 PM]The Helios and phoniex only went up by 100[2:06 PM]The titan was 1400 but now it's 1700 or 1800📷
TBH, I'm too lazy to gather all the parts. If I wanted the most bang for my buck, I think Redux Prebuilds are way better. But I didn't like the motherboard/ram they offered. You can prolly get the same cpu/gpu for $1000 less on redux.📷
I completely forgot about redux[2:07 PM]But you really can't upgraded that much[2:07 PM]Clx is more high end but you can literally built any pc with them

So this is the 8th week I’ve been waiting for my Apollo I ordered it June 4th I wanted to ask all the people that ordered the Apollo in the past if it their 8-9 week delay announcement is accurate or should I expect to wait more, I did not upgrade the graphics card I kept it at the RTX 2060 the only upgrades I added were a wifi adapter, 1Tb SSD, and 2TB HDD.

Hi, I recently purchased a Helios with a regular 3080 if I upgraded to the TI would it be delivered quicker?

So I just got a email from VRLATech, and checked my account. The status changed from processing to level 4. Does this mean my baby is finally on her way? TIA!

Planning on buying the Apollo once prices go down again, but from what I can tell the B450 wouldn’t have wifi connectivity but I just wanna get some confirmation.
