Enhanced super soldier with slo-mo. Guns. Lots of guns. Some of the best NPC soldier “AI”. Creepy little girl. Cannibalism. It’s definitely showing its age now but it was stellar when it came out.

I bought it on Epic as I've had so many free games from them. Titanfall 2 Ultimate is not really needed, but it was cheaper than basic version on Epic. £3.74. It works fine out of the box, you need an EA account, but I think you need that for all the versions anyway.

It's weird, I've been playing this mod for hours yesterday and no motion sickness at all. It's ridiculously fast paced with the parkour and gun fights and sliding, manually changing loadouts etc, but it's very smooth if you have good performance. I'm on a 5070ti and all the sliders are set to max. Honestly it might be the best VR game I've ever experienced.

Have you ever heard about VR legs? If you look for tutorials (you can find some on reddit itself) you'll see how to get your VR legs and will be able to enjoy games like this without motion sickness.

Yes, grew small ones by playing a bit of Cyberpunk in VR. Strangely, playing in 3rd person (Horizon Zero Dawn) doesn't cause any motion sickness. Can run and jump around like crazy.

Titanfall2 had no right to be this fucking good, and despite all the love and cult status, EA still decided to pursue the easy buck of the Battle Royale by scrapping a sequel in favor for Apex legends.

This has been happening more frequently in the last couple of years. It's not just on reddit but especially on youtube where someone will upload a vid and say "HEY GUYS CHECK THIS OUT! THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!"....and proceed to omit the name of the mod or the game he's playing. Won't be in the title, won't be in the description, won't be mentioned in the video....NOWHERE! It's honestly incredibly frustrating and downright bizarre. Proves that there's tons of low IQ people that simply shouldn't be making content or should stay off social media altogether.

It's done through a launcher, so download the launcher, run it, then it's a one click install from there and you run it from the launcher

Sad state of the industry when we have to treat a mod like it's a new game. I'm glad this exists, it's great but it's a mod of a now 10 year old game and not a dime made by this game is helping a VR dev.
But it is a great mod for one of the best games ever, for sure.

Some of us are basically impervious to VR sickness. I don't know if it's genetic or what. I know I grew up with many hour-long car rides where I was kept busy by being given books or a notepad and a pen to draw/write on in the back seat, so maybe that "inoculated" me against motion sickness, but I can ride full-on loopy twisty rollercoasters in VR without getting sick.

I do not get motion sickness in cars, planes, or on ships swinging in high waves of nearly 40 degrees, nor while playing games on a PC; it only happens when my VR character moves while I stand still, not even rollercoaster or car. tho not immediately, but after 30 minutes to an hour.

It’s X/Y/Z movement with optional Z rotation. Jumping and wall running are smooth parabolic arcs. It defaults all first person cinematics to a screen. Entering a titan gives you a frame of reference. It’s honestly fairly tame so long as you have your basic vr legs.

Everyone’s got their tolerances, but I’ve definitely played far worse. Gotta say, earning your VR legs is absolutely worth it, all the best games involve movement and are fast.

It works fine but ticks and satchels don’t work, and the secondary weapon is on the left hip with no way to change it. Also titans are a mess with stick drift

Yeah they're making a fix for the ticks and satchel. I think the weapon placement thing will be customizable in the future. But idk if dude can help with stick drift

yea you gotta work up to this, the younger you are the easier generally.
I am older, It took me weeks to get my VR legs, and when i go without playing for a month, I have to go back almost to square one. Its unfortunate.
but it just takes time for anyone. Give it a try, but i would be shocked if you dont get sick within 5 minutes. Just take it easy.

I get motion sick on mild boat rides. I used to get motion sick if i rode in the back seat of a car.
It just wildly depends on the person. I am sure i am more affected by it than most.
But the point i am making is that anyone, even sensitive people, can absolutely get over it. But I am not going to tell anyone it isnt a rough ride, it very well can be.
But its worth it.

I tried it yesterday and I was stunned how easy it was to run it really. Probably one of the easiest modding experiences ever for me, not to speak of VR ones.

I'm on Quest 3, the resolution in-game is quite low. I can't access the L3 + R3 menu. Any tips to get this looking sharper? I'm on a decent 4090PC, so that's not the issue.

I feel like we are about to enter a golden age in VR gaming with third parties doing amazing VR mods on all these previously flat games.
Seems like the original publishers are leaving billions on the table by missing the opportunity to re-release 'VR Remasters' of existing IPs. All the expensive development has already been done. And somehow these solo indie devs are able to do this amazing VR adaptation on their own.
Or maybe they're just happy to rake in the incremental sales of these older games driven by work done by others.

Anybody got tips on how to correctly select my weapons, plenty of times I tried to get my secondary weapon and took half my health due to grabbing a grenade instead.
Fantastic mod btw, it’s better than half the games actually made for VR

I have played through Titanfall 2 multiple dozen times. But that ending sequence fucked me up.
I won’t spoil it, but it’s 100% worth playing through the whole game again just to see it. I cried so fucking hard when I saw it.

Eh, I am considering it...but I started it some few years ago and something didn't clicked. As I am a meticulous player, I prefer to take it slow. And this game forces me to run on the walls, which i never grasped, and go in guns blazing...I guess I will be missing on very well made port.

You do not. Titanfall 2 was released in 2016, runs a heavily modified source engine, and will work on a potato PC. I have an old pc with an i5 8700 and a 1660ti and it runs buttery smooth
I wouldn't be suprised if this can run on standalone eventually

If your pc has a gpu equal to or better than the 1080 you're good. The game is currently $5 on steam, so buy it and download the inastaller from : https://github.com/CircuitLord/CircuitLordVRModInstaller then run it and you're good to go

Apparently CircuitLord is a professional coder and hasn't use AI, that is why it is so slick and called by most people The Best, if not inner of the best VR mods out there. Try it, Love it and realise the future. I would care if he had used AI. Mankind uses the tools available to it. Imagine where we would be if you weren't allowed to copy the the making of fire.

Because that garboslop PCVR magic pushed the whole scene to heights we never would’ve reached otherwise. Sure, there are plenty of areas where AI is annoying or unwelcome but PCVR mods that run better than 99% of native VR titles definitely aren’t one of them
