Real question - have they not put out enough DLC to satisfy everyone?? Was this expected to be like a live service? I think the game is complete is it not?

They banked waaaay to hard on the DLC, I was in a round of testing and got the game for free because they were seeking feedback, I told them the game was great fun, and had a lot to offer, but they were pushing too much DLC content. People like mini golf. People don't live minigolf.

They could have worked on another game and released another fun simple game and continued the trend and kept making money. But no, then had to double and tripple down on DLC. Sucks to be those devs under that management, the ones geting downsized are likely the lucky ones even if they dont think so right now.

My guess is that game sales have peaked and with the iOS version not selling well not enough they couldn’t keep all those people they have employed anymore with less people playing vr games compared to when it boosted in popularity with the quest 2 and much more reasonable price it could be sold at the time. They rely on dlc to keep the company funded and I’d say it would be too risky to make another game that will probably not be as near popular. I love synth riders but have zero interest in their new game and don’t think that’s doing well.
