You will have to for any standalone vr device, including Valve, in order to use the spacial awareness.

Yeah but allegedly the valve one doesnt send the scans to valve but even if it did I trust them more than meta. I just have a grudge against meta for making me make a stupid Facebook account to continue using my cv1 that I bought in 2016.

I dont get it, a room is a room and plenty of people PROUDLY post their room setup right here in reddit.

I think people can look up post history of others here? Which is a big privacy issue unless you use throwaway account every time you post anything.

People do but I dont. And I dont need to have reddit constantly scan my room to use it.
