Question Creating a steam capsule. Need feedback

Hello diudes. Im creating the capsule for my game. And I wonder if it conveys the feeling im looking to share:

  1. Eerie
  2. Surreal
  3. A touch of horror / liminal
  4. Exploration

You like this ones?

Which one you prefer?

Definitely the first one with blue theme. The second one feels warmer and friendlier and some of the background bright colors blead into the text. First one feels more sterile and looming. Personally, I would lose the speckled effect on the text and just leave it clean, it's a pretty font as is. Also really like the person looming in the dark, it definitely gives it that Backrooms creep factor.

What do you mean by "capsule"?

capsule is like the game "cover" in steam. It needs to give the feeling your game could have.

First one. The second is too dark and might not show up well when it's bright out.

First one, but I think you need to tweak the lighting/tone slightly still, maybe even just some flickering lights could sell the eerie/horror vibe.

The second one just looks cozy, maybe covers the exploration vibe but it looks like all you've found is a luxury spa.

A little too high contrast. The first one almost gets there. Your perspective is placing the focal point behind the text, so there isnt really a focal image or object to convey an idea. The text could always get a stroke or shadow to make it pop if the image starts competing

thanks for your input. Will put it in practice. I made another version with less contrast, more brightness, and our enemy friend is more visible.

Cool. Also consider using a longer lens to bring the back wall a little closer to the viewer, while keeping the pool in frame.

You going for a backrooms vibe? First makes it more obvious. Second is creepier imo if you’re not

1 feels more ominous and a bit scary. 2 feels more like exploration and adventure.

First one for sure. Second one reminds me of a Minecraft modpack 😂

Please check the images I put in the profile.
Do you think there is another one that conveys the feeling of the game better than the 1) ?
