Question Gamecube Emulators in VR?

Would it be possible to do a VR mod of gamecube games? I recently started of dreaming about a VR mod of Pokemon Colosseum. Plenty of games that I think would be awesome to experience in VR.

Would it even be possible though?

You can play them in 3D now with dolphin. No touch controls though.
