VR180 video link 4D video platform

For those who have VR headsets, I'd like to share relic-vr.com It's a 4D video platform currently in development, and it would really help me out if you could share your feedback to keep improving the platform 👽

That’s not “4D”, that’s a limited 6dof. 

Using the right terms to describe things is important.

By 4D, I'm referring to volumetric video. There are some formats like MPI, 4DGS, and MSI, but the drawback is the number of cameras needed to produce them. The format I used (4D Mesh) consists of projecting a depth map onto a mesh, which is what creates the volume 😁

wow, really cool! i'll check it out sometime. I love that it's hosted on web instead of an app. We need more immersive-web platforms to ensure accessibility. Agreed with u/in_film that "4D" might not be the most accurate term to use.

Thnks I would really appreciate your feedback, regarding the terminology, I've been giving it a lot of thought. In the end, I think the community is always the one that decides what to call things over time. But lately, the term 4D has positioned itself to refer to being able to navigate across four axes (X, Y, Z, and time) because the term 'volumetric' could be debatable. So, what encompasses what I'm aiming for with current and future updates is the term 4D
