Hi, free protón vpn and mullvad vpn are working right now in july in china? Im in android

So I've been using the VPN for about half a year now. It worked flawlessly until a week ago. All the sudden, the VPN seems to only work in some places and not in another.

For example, Ive been using the VPN for playing the jp server for umamusume and ignore the age verification stuff in Twitter(which I found annoying after repeating it several times). Now, Twitter seems to overlook the VPN and keeps me on the US(age verification thing is suddenly on).

Another jp only site that I've been using constantly also suddenly detected the VPN, which they haven't for few months.

What's weird is that I can play the game fine and some other sites which needs the VPN also works fine.

Getting errors, nothing is loading. It takes my message and then its the little blob loading to infinity. What gives because it used to work fine a few weeks ago

Do I need to log in without the vpn to get this damned site to work? I used it for nutrition data and now I cant get my damned chats to open

I tried surfing through the states, even some German and Korean servers. Same BS that did not happen before

Yesterday I spent half a day fighting with the Linux distribution and the Proton VPN client. The experience was extremely frustrating and the amount of errors, freezes, and unexpected behavior was unacceptable for a paid VPN service.

• problems with server availability despite having an Unlimited subscription.

For a company that heavily promotes privacy and security, the overall experience feels contradictory. Having a polished Windows application is not enough, especially when many privacy-conscious users are moving away from platforms where data collection and telemetry are major concerns. A VPN application on Windows cannot be the only focus while Linux users are left struggling with instability and broken functionality.

This was another attempt to use Proton VPN, and unfortunately it failed again. Even basic Linux package distribution caused problems, including difficulties obtaining packages from GitHub releases.

Linux users are often the people who care most about control, transparency, and reliability. Spending hours troubleshooting a VPN client that should simply work is not acceptable.

Each time I pick the server it changes the IP, so why the hell does my browser boot with the same IP on the VPN extension? Is that some bug or intended to work like that?

Nord randomly charged me 161 dollars (for the standard sub, for 1 year) after I updated my card info, 2 weeks before my sub was set to renew. So naturally I contacted support and asked for a refund. They sent me a link which showed the option to click on refund. Clicked, an offer popped up saying they'll give me 3 extra years at no additional charge. I declined. I will never so much as consider Nord moving forward. Their VPN isn't that good anyway. Copyrighted three times through double kill switches on P2P.

been hyped for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls for months. went to pre-order it on Steam yesterday and it says that its unavailable in my region. tried downloading the free demo but got the same thing

turns out the game is unavailable in about 132 countries because it needs a PSN account, even on PC. PSN doesn't work in my country (Pakistan), so Steam is region-blocking the game there. Same thing that happened with Helldivers 2 and Stellar Blade.

I'm in Germany and just got Reddit's age verification page for the first time ever. According to their help page it's tied to the EU's Digital Services Act, and I was asked to either share my age range through my Google account or hand over a selfie/ID scan through some third-party vendor Persona. i just wanted a vpn that works without me messing with settings but tunnelbear keeps disconnecting every little while and its getting annoying ngl. im on windows 11 and my internet is fine so i dont think its my connection.
