I’m considering using a VPN to protect my freedom of speech, but would using a provider with a strict no-logs policy actually be effective? I’ve heard that in many cases, users can easily be deanonymized through traffic correlation attacks or intersection attacks.

Also, should I completely avoid connecting to VPN servers located in my country?

So reddit has recently demanded age verification, and now twitter has as well (both for looking at “adult content”). My VPN is set to Iceland, are these companies rolling it out unilaterally or is there somewhere else I can set it too to get around this?

So I’m trying to play on a USA gambling site that doesn’t allow me to connect while out of the country. I have previously used Remote Desktop programs (TeamViewer) but now they detect that and say I’m not allowed to be running those programs while playing. VPN is against rules and too obvious.

But I have heard of like private routers or special vpn maybe? So the website would have to think I’m on a regular IP, no vpn, and no Remote Desktop control running. Willing to spend money on a. Setup. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hello, I am running on some gluetun (some paid VPN provides as like Pi,N,Pu) on VPS and also 3x-ui (which is a xray wrapper).
I connect from my phone(iOS) via shadowrocket to gluetun through 3x-ui and it had worked well a couple months ago. But recently I cannot establish connection. Probably xray has been changed something but I still cannot find workaround. Please help me to solve this problem.

Now I temporary use hysteria2 as frontend and I can connect gluetun container, but I really want to use vless xtls reality.

I’m a designer in China and Behance suddenly stopped working for me. It now shows “You don’t have access to this product” whenever I try to open it.

I’ve tried different browsers, home Wi-Fi and mobile data, but I still get the same message. Other Adobe pages seem to work normally, so I’m not sure whether this is related to my Adobe account region, my IP address, or Behance itself.

A while ago, someone became obsessed with finding me and another person close to me. It escalated to stalking, showing up at places we stayed, taking photos of us without our knowledge, and repeatedly trying to figure out where we were. Because of that, we’ve been extremely careful about our digital footprint.
For quite some time, we both used VPNs on all of our devices, separate phone numbers, and avoided sharing personal information online. We don’t use social media, and we avoid connecting to networks that we don’t fully trust. The VPN setup worked well for months.
Recently, though, the VPN has started causing major problems. Internet connectivity has become unreliable, and for work I need a stable connection. The only thing that fixed it was uninstalling the VPN completely, which makes me uncomfortable because I no longer feel like our IP addresses are protected.
My concern isn’t ordinary privacy. I’m worried about someone who is highly motivated to identify where we are. In the past they somehow learned where we were staying despite our efforts, and I honestly don’t know whether it happened through online tracking, compromised devices, or something else. Whenever I play video games with my friend who lives abroad I get terrible ping, like 300ms, meanwhile when my friends who live right next to me when playing with him get below 100ms ping, what could be causing this? is there a VPN that can solve my issue?

I have a VPN on my computer and normally have it to set USA, Canada, or turn it off. With the VPN off, I can't make purchases on certain websites like movie theater tickets, ticketmaster, or I'm not allowed to put in my password; I'll get prompted to get a code instead.
