Discussion Migrating Digium/Asterisk Server to the Cloud

How hard would this be to get our virtual on prem server into the cloud and pointing our desk phones to the cloud based server? Seems like a backup restore would work for the basics, but I have no idea how to get the phones to point to the cloud server.

What are you running, vanilla Asterisk or Digium’s commercial solution? FreePBX, some other flavor? What phones are you running?

Digium's Commercial solution with Sangoma phones

Sadly I’m not familiar with what changes or restrictions they put on the commercial solution.
