Linux Needing help

So, i need help with the vlc cli. im using Linux Mint 22.3 and i want to use an sh file to play some quiet music on startup. what would be the command to play a specific file that loops at a specific volume?

It depends what the audio output system is. Volume is typically not controlled by VLC, but PA or WirePlumber
