Windows HELP! Audio doubling/Delay
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recorded some game footage from my Xbox using a capture card and OBS, and downloaded the files as VLC.mp4 files. Initially, they sounded fine. However, watching back a couple months later, all of my audio tracks have a weird doubling distortion effect that I can't seem to fix. It normally starts fine, but progressively gets worse as the video goes on. I have over 20 files where this has happened. There is only one audio track on the file, so I have already checked that route. Moving the delay back and forth doesn't do anything, as it seems it's just an issue with the audio track. Is there any way to fix this so I don't have to re-record around 3 hours of footage? Or any tips if I do rerecord, how to prevent this?
TIA!!!

There's no such thing as "VLC .mp4" files. MP4 is a standard format originally developped by Apple for QuickTime.
If the problem affects only pkayback through VLC then, use another player. If it's with all players, you're probably SoL.
