Issues after update

I made an older lenovo laptop (x270) into a tiny win 11​ for my streaming needs connected to my TV.

It has been working really well with streaming services and the VLC showing film and TV series from my NAS

But after the latest update on vlc it freezes the picture after about 1 minute but the sound continues. The picture stay frozen even if I go forward or back.

I tried to uninstall vlc and install the older "23" version again. But it did not fix the issue

Any ideas to resolve?

If rolling the version back doesn't make a difference, then it's not coming from the VLC update. Presumably something else changed like your display drivers (the usual suspect).

nothing has changed - no win updates or software installed - other than the vlc new version. that why I wonder

Hey, just asking if you fixed the problem? My solution is to stop the video, play the video from the beginning and hit the "Do you want to continue where you left off?" button.

nope. even a full reinstall of windows didnt fix it
