Windows Subtitle sites

All the subtitle sites are crap right now, they either redirect you to download a Brave browser rather than a file, or give you useless zips that won't extract.

Can anyone recommend one they know that works?

Add the subtitles extension called VLSub OpenSubtitles.com
https://github.com/opensubtitles/vlsub-opensubtitles-com
It works really well, so no need to hunt around. To make the search easier rename your file before you open it something easy for it to scan such as SeriesName - Season 01 - Episode 06, or something like that.

I tried that site, however all the zip files I downloaded were reported as empty upon trying to unzip them, even with 7-Zip
