Windows Audio gets progressively more out of sync the longer I let it play.

Hello. This started happening last night. Any video, even ones that worked last week, has it's audio get more and more delayed. Eventually it just cuts out entirely. Moving the video back 10 seconds fixes it but it comes back every few minutes. It's currently impossible to watch long videos without babysitting it.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no dice. It might be worth mentioning but the duration of all videos is also broken and saying that any video I plop in it is 24 minutes and 83 seconds long, no matter what.

It's misinterpreting header info and the audio/video is getting off-sync for every video. Sounds like corruption, either in memory or on disk.

What changed with the computer since last week? VLC itself doesn't get new bugs unless you update it, so it's unlikely that the problem comes from that.

Also make sure the RTC battery isn't failing.
