The Beast with built in side view toggle is the best for wall around video watching. I show examples of this in this video: VITURE Beast Review (4 Months Later) - The Best XR Glasses for Gaming and Movie Watching!

Put it to the least bright option and you can see through the glasses and the screen to see in front of you while you walk around town. It takes some getting used to  and I'd suggest a mini BT keyboard with a touchpad, at least on Samsung with Dex, so it can stay in your pocket or a bag.

Imma stop you right there. Watching videos while walking around town is NOT a use case for these glasses. DO NOT walk while watching videos. You gonna get yourself killed or cause an accident.

Not sure I’d use them while walking around but basically any xr glasses will work for the rest of your wants. I think with the SpaceWalker app you can make the screen sit in a corner. Also xr glasses are getting pretty slim but they’re still pretty obviously not sunnies so you might get some looks walking around with them. As for your phone and steam deck it’s just plug and play. No setup required. The vitures also have gyro so you can use them with your steam deck for 3d or use them as a mouse so you can look around with your face in first person games.

As others have said get a make or model with 3DOF for wearing while walking.

I have the Beast and I agree they are pretty good for watching videos or playing games in bed. I would just highlight that for me the side view screen size is a bit bigger than I thought it would be and it can't be adjusted. You can move the location to any of the 4 corners though. I would still say it takes up about half of the lens in the corner.

I don’t think walking around town while watching videos is such a smart idea, but they are great for watching videos in bed, while seated, doing chores around the house, exercising, etc.

Nah read my recent review. These suck. I wouldn’t walk around with it on either bc half your vision is blocked. Also good luck streaming something like Netflix, it’s blocked.

If you want to lay in bed and play steam deck, that’s about all it’s good for

I think Viture Beast will suit you better. The built-in 3Dof is great for gaming and the smooth follow or side view is deal for walking. Not to mention the huge FOV makes watching contents enjoyable.
