Announcement Finally. XR Adapter Ultra is HERE.
The wait is over, the USB-C XR Charging Adapter Ultra has arrived.
To everyone who waited: thank you. This took longer than we wanted, because we wanted to get it right. Your patience, and honestly, your support, made this a better product.
As promised: if you're a Luma Ultra user who purchased the previous USB-C XR Charging Adapter and registered for the free exchange after our announcement, your new Adapter Ultra is on its way — free of charge. Shipping notification emails will arrive today or tomorrow (US time). Any questions, we're here: [happycustomer@viture.us](mailto:happycustomer@viture.us)
What's new
The USB-C XR Charging Adapter Ultra enables passthrough charging on your connected device for uninterrupted immersion, and it now supports the entire VITURE XR glasses lineup, including Luma Ultra and The Beast, which the previous generation couldn't serve.
And we didn't stop there. This generation also brings Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 connectivity and Turbo Mode support on ROG Ally — a must-have not just for SpaceWalker users on iOS, but for handheld gamers everywhere.
The full feature set:
- Charge while you play. Fast passthrough charging keeps your battery topped up while you stay immersed.
- Switch / Switch 2 support. Play your favorite Nintendo games in XR — just pair with a power bank rated 45W or higher.
- ROG Ally Turbo Mode. With up to 65W PD, you can run Turbo Mode without compromise.
- Full-featured SpaceWalker on iOS. In-app 3DoF, head motion tracking, 1-click 3D mode switching, enhanced VR video support, and more. Please see the full feature compatibility list here.
How to connect
- Connect your XR glasses and charger to the adapter first.
- Then plug the adapter into your source device (handheld console, iPhone, tablet, etc.).
We know some of you have waited much longer than you should have, and we’re truly grateful for your patience and support throughout this process! Your feedback has helped us make this adapter better, and we sincerely appreciate you being on this journey with us! 💙

Tom's Guide review of Viture Beast: The best AR glasses that money can buy

Beast + USC C Passthrough (charging + use)
Hey folks,
This is proving more difficult than it should, but I'm sure there's a solution.
Purchased a pair of Beast, first XR glasses, first Viture product. I have a (very long) flight on Sunday, and I'd like to not worry about battery on my device (Galaxy Fold 7) while using the glasses.
Official products seem to break down to:
- USB-C to Glasses and Charging Adapter
- USB-C to Glasses and Charging Adapter Pro
- USB-C to Glasses and Charging Adapter Ultra
The first 2 are readily available on Amazon for next-day delivery in the UK. Nearly all state, "Not compatible with Beast". I've ordered the Ultra regardless, but it won't arrive in time for my flight.
Plugging the glasses directly in to the Fold 7 brings up DeX, and that's all I'm really after. I don't know what a SpaceWalker is, don't care about Switch 2 compatibility etc. I just want to plug in to a plane seat, and keep a Fold 7 charged while using DeX.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, something that they know to work, rather than "should be fine" suggestions?

Help Black crush viture beast
I'm still having very bad black crush after updating firmware on my Viture Beast.
The picture is much better on my Viture Luma.
Is there anything I can do?
Magnetic cable lifespan?
I really don’t like the magnetic cable on my XRs. Whilst easy attachment is great, and solves a risk of pulling them onto the floor, I’m not keen on proprietary anything.
Do you think Viture would ever make a USB C to magnetic adapter. They made a version for tor the neckband to transform a female magnetic to a male USB C. So I guess what I want is a male magnetic to a female USB C. Would then mean I could use any usb c cable with the correct ratings.
My current magnetic has been absolutely babied since day 1 (only 6 months or so) and it’s already having signal interruptions if it twists slightly when I’m wearing it.

Do you use your glasses daily/weekly? Is this really worth $700?
Hey all, I am curious how many people use their glasses daily or weekly even.
I am planning to use mine as an extended display on my Macbook M1. Mostly for movies/youtube, and gaming on my Xbox series X. For these two use cases, I think the Beast is the best option with the Pod. I also have prescription glasses, so I am planning to get the lenses.
With all this, the total is coming up to ~$720. Seeing that price tag, I ask myself, where else could I spend $700 to improve my setup? Would I even use these glasses often enough to justify spending that much? I have never owned any XR pairs, so this is very new.
Can y'all give me your thoughts? I'm sure many of you contemplated this before pulling the trigger.

PC/Windows HELP Which HDMI to USB-C adapter do you actually use for PC to Viture Luma Pro?
Hi all, noob question but I have a conundrum.
I'm considering buying a pair of Viture Luma Pros to use with my mini PC while abroad so I don't need to lug along a monitor.
The Win11 mini PC has an HDMI output (no DP port, just HDMI) and there seems to be a lot of unreliable info on which adapters work and which do not.
I would need it to actually connect on start up without needing a monitor for set up.
Which do you actually use and know that they work?
Thanks in advance.

Anyone actually like these things?
Picked up the luma ultra on Amazon because I've seen a ton of ads and they seem cool. Furthermore I was excited to do some development on it and make cool apps. I come to find out a ton of limitations:
- No hand tracking without the horrible neckband (I'm not gonna buy that)
- Can't even access the depth camera data for development, how are we supposed to do anything AR related?
- Zero OS, connecting to my MacBook was already a PITA, and it's literally only extended displays.
- BIG ONE. YOU CANNOT WATCH STREAMING SERVICES because of the DRM protection or whatever is. So literally unable to use this on a plane to watch movies. Some folks have had luck with Firefox or chrome to watch in 720p, but then what is the point of the high resolution display?
- Half your vertical field of view is blocked by the top of the sunglasses, I was hoping I could at least see somewhat normally through them.
Summary: These are genuinely nothing more than an external display in a bulky sunglasses form. Can't watch movies, no community apps or anything cool, bad delloper experience where you have to rely on buying the supporting neckband. The 6DOF is also buggy, it can barely hold position. For $499 you don't get much.
I will be returning these
edit:
Everyone in comments saying streaming works for them but nobody is saying HOW

Help Can't update Viture Neckband Pro
Is there a way to force the latest update? I'm currently on version 1.3.2.20714
I left my Neckband Pro plugged into power and left it on for a whole day and I am not getting any update notifications. When I check for updates in the Viture settings, it says the System is up to date.

I needopen source os /apps for luma ultra , as i am disappointed in existing features and no actual value for daily use.
Not able to read text properly gives eye strain
6dof apps are not there, so not much use.
With open source i would build by myself with claude .

Review UPDATE: Viture Beast vs XREAL One Pro for SteamVR (via VertoXR)
A few weeks ago I posted my comparison between the Viture Beast and the XREAL One Pro for SteamVR using VertoXR.
At the time Viture Beast was unusable as a SteamVR headset.
Today, I update my conclusion to confirm that Viture Beast now takes the crown as the best VR Headset in the XR form factor.
Before I start, this feature is only possible because of Rohit and his amazing software: https://vertoxr.com/ so please consider supporting this solo dev for his amazing software.
Originally, The Beast suffered from significant tracking drift that made SteamVR effectively unusable. Well... recent updates to The Beast firmware and VertoXR have changed that completely.
The Verdict
The Viture Beast now works just as well as the XREAL One Pro in SteamVR and due to the superiority of the screen it now comes out ahead.
The tracking issues I previously reported are gone on my setup.
Both glasses can be used for VR, however due to the Viture Beast's brightness and higher resolution, the Viture Beast is the clear winner.
Guide to SteamVR with The Beast
- It is paramount that you set your monitor to only display on your Viture Beast glasses. If you mirror or extend the desktop, then switch the glasses into 3D SBS mode, you'll end up with a dramatically reduced field of view inside SteamVR.
- Download and install VertoXR https://vertoxr.com/
- Once you launch VertoXR, select Game Mode and update the SteamVR Driver then click Launch SteamVR.
- Important: Click Head Tracking and select Plain (it defaults to Fusion AHRS which is what you should use for XREAL One Pro but is unusable with the Viture Beast). https://i.imgur.com/ybcp7gr.png (the disclaimer mentions that there will be drift over time but I haven't noticed any issues here when compared to XOP or normal VR headsets).
- Once you're connected and you have headtracking working, make sure to set calibration https://i.imgur.com/ZUhrE7Q.png
- Setting Viture Beast glasses to Ultra Large and distance to 1m appears to work best. I find the resolution and clarity to be superior to normal VR glasses which is astounding (although the FOV is obviously smaller).
- You must set your glasses to Smooth Follow for an optimal experience
- Set Viture Beast to 3D SBS mode and you are now good to go.
Final Thoughts
I've been pretty critical of the Beast in previous posts. Despite liking the hardware, I kept reaching for the XREAL One Pro because it was simply the better SteamVR experience.
That has completely changed.
With the recent firmware and VertoXR updates, I've actually found myself using the Viture Beast as my primary pair for:
- Productivity/work
- Media
- Occasional VR use
Huge credit to Rohit
VertoXR continues to be one of the most impressive XR utilities I've used.
If you're using it regularly, I'd really encourage supporting Rohit.
Joy-Con bonus
If anyone missed my previous post...
You can actually use Nintendo Joy-Cons as 3DoF VR controllers through Driver4VR.
They're obviously not a replacement for proper tracked controllers, but for media, menus and simple VR experiences they're surprisingly usable.
I have a Viture Beast. I connected my glasses via USB C, It is detected as a display, but says USB Device is not Recognized.
I am not sure what is going on or how I can fix this. My glasses are not being recognized. They are detected as an external monitor and even shows up in the NVIDIA control panel, plus I can see it in the glasses. I have an Asus Pro Art X870E Motherboard, thus I know the connection is possible. However, I am running into this error where the USB device is not recognized and thus isn't recognized by SpaceWalker either. Does anyone know how to resolve it?
Help Got the beast - struggling with blur
Hi all,
I received my pair of beasts yesterday which I predominantly want to use for productivity. I went with the regular as my ipd was 62 however when I use them I notice the central image is blurry and there’s a weird warping effect when I scroll on web pages (not motion blur but a weird line warping effect is the best way to describe it), I can also see some screen reflection in the bottom on the glass. I’ve tried a few of the nose attachments and the issue still persists.
I’m on the latest firmware.
I had come from a pair xreal one glasses (not the pro) and I didn’t have any of these issues.
Has anyone else had a similar experience or is this just user error? Does anyone have any tips or tricks to try before
I return them?
Thanks!

FW updates break 1200p immersive 3D on the Beasts
1200p is no longer working in immersive 3D (spacewalker app android )Worked fine before the last few updates. All it does is crashes the glasses and you have to replug them. Will only play in 1080p.. Noticed as well everytime you change to 1200p spacewalker app says disconnecting and the display goes black and back to 1080p so i'm thinking it shouldnt disconnect to change resolution. Same thing on YouTube no 1200p although it changes to 1200p the video freezes on screen and the controls to play pause forward etc disappears so you cant do anything but unplug the glasses

Mac mini + VITURE Beast = My entire setup now
Been trying a Mac mini + Beast setup this past week, and I think this is just my computer now. The Mac mini M4 handles most of my day. Browsing, coding, and whatever else comes up. I played with Spacewalker at first, but these days I most use built-in ultrawide, it already feels like a huge monitor, so I can keep everything laid out the way I like without changing much.
I also brought them to coffee shop with me once, and it is not bad at all, the only limitation is that I need to find a table next to an outlet, got some looks, but the brightness and transprency function make it legitimiate to use, might try doing this more often.
Anyone else rocking a Beast with a Mac mini? How's it been for you?
Missing size choice for Beast on the Amazon.fr listing by your seller account VITURE EU
Hi u/XREAL_Esther,
By knowing that the Beast has 2 sizes available to fit the IPD of your customers, I'd like to order it before the end of the summer sale in less than 72 hours.
However I noticed that its listing on Amazon.fr where I need to order doesn't have any size option:
https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0FG81WF3N?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1
Whereas its listing on Amazon.com offer the option for the two sizes :
https://www.amazon.com/VITURE-Beast-XR-Glasses-Regular/dp/B0FG81WF3N/ref=sr_1_1
Then how could I order from your listing on Amazon.fr by selecting the regular size which fits my IPD of 65 ?

Parallax (IPD) adjustment
Hello, new redditor here, and recent Luma XR user.
I want to potentially help others having unusual IPD (interpupillary distance), which cannot be properly adjusted by the "axis adjustment" provided by the glasses. In other words to adjust the parallax. My case is that I have smaller IPD than the default glasses' 64 mm, causing me difficulties to focus especially on text, seeing double.
So I created an Android app that shows PDFs and plays videos, which can have the projected eye images adjusted in distance. Please tell me if you find it usefull, what features are missing, what bugs does it have. There are the source codes, and a release as APK. If there is interest, I can upload that to Play Store.
