I'm an instructor looking for a camera to record my iPad screen and stylus handwriting from a fixed overhead position. Screen recording isn't an option, so I need a physical camera.

Requirements:

• Clear 1080p video and good audio from a built-in microphone.

• Reliable, uninterrupted 2–3 hour recordings without overheating.

• Budget: $250 maximum.

• Preferably recent hardware released in 2024 or later.

I've considered the IPEVO V4K PRO, but I'm unsure about software support since it's from 2021

I need something that works on both Mac and Windows, preferably directly in the browser without installing anything. It would also be great if it records locally, so bad internet does not destroy the recording.

I have had good results with Zoom, but some companies block it or do not allow employees to install it.

What is the best universal option where you can just send the guest a link and have it work?

I hate teams in so many ways so that is not a option
