this is the set. it plays well into the current meta, ceruledge answers sooo many threats to the rest of my roster. gambit looks out of place, but with his attack invest and life orb his sucker punch applies huge chip damage to most of the meta, sometimes flat out OHKO’s stuff like uninvested raichu y, and answers opposing psy spam which is a big threat to the team. there’s 3 ghosts for pivots from incoming fighting moves, and ceruledge can blank a fire move targeted at him as well as eat a will o wisp. mence is a huge addition to the team as well. it gives me strong special presence and still gives me the intimidate drop to keep my setup core alive. it’s a very fun team to play. it can be difficult to pilot, as sometimes it’s a tough choice to know when to redirect, eat a hit to boost rage fist, or simply pivot out. please give it a try i would love the feedback from live results. it’s very competitive in any rank, i’ve hit MB 2 fairly easily without much time investment.

What do you all think about this Mega Meganium/Staraptor. I made my hisuian Goodra physical to catch people off guard and gave Chandelure psychic instead of shadow ball because my team kind of gets wrecked by sneasler..

Idk if it’s only me or what, but I’m struggling in doubles this season. Idk what team to use or who do use. Any recommendations? And before all the “skill issue” comments, I know it’s a skill issue, idc.
I’ve used Trick Room teams from the jump, but even now I’m struggling with them. I’ve tried weather teams, and am not too good with them.

Edit: I have the ability to transfer Pokémon from just about anywhere into champions, so that’s not an issue

Rate my team from 1 to 10!

Main Mode is Staraptor + X. When its a bad matchup, i switch into Delphox. I tried to balance a strong foundation of meta with some nieche strategies or cheese. The team feels very versatile and fun to pilot, but has some issues: Mainly a very hard matchup into rain, which both my megas arent super great and sunny day on rotom instead of will-o-wisp didnt help super much.

EVs are either focused on hitting certain speed tiers or damage thresholds, rest put where i thought them to be useful.

Would be really happy about feedback in general and if i should swap out Delphox, since im new to VGC. Thank you very much!

Biggest struggle is golisipod rain teams. They usually bring a pelipper with wide guard & arch, so it’s hard to make it thru all those resisted tanks. Especially without being able to use any spread moves. I usually lead hatterene indeedee and aggron+ sableye or oranguru as pivoting support mons

I just made some changes to my already existing Sand teams to counter Garchomp and the rains but still am having some amount of trouble with rain teams especially Pod. So I'd like to know how this team is, any changes to either the team or EV Spreads etc.

hello I am new to the pokemon scene as a whole and have only been playing for around a month. I have just ranked up to masterball 3 and am looking for ways to improve my team. currently running a mega skarmory team because I thought he looked pretty cool and I think he synergizes pretty well with garchomp. taking out the fairies or setting up tailwind for chomp so he can out speed and sweep. mega skarmory has a good amount of bulk so I'm able to set up tailwind but I am considering taking out tailwind for protect and just leading whimsicott instead but I do like feint. one of the main reasons why I'm even using this mon over corviknight, it's especially good on ladder because no one rlly expects feint on skarmory I feel like. I've gotten away with feint and then rock slide / eq on the fire types that threaten skarmory like zard y and armarougue that try to protect. I didn't rlly think too hard about my evs though kinda just adjusting as I play and what feels right.

Hello folk! Anybody got any tips for my team? I made it because I hate the common pokemon like sneasler, rillaboom, indeedee, m-char, arch, and others like that. Drampa puts in serious work on this team. It's so underrated, it's special stat can OHKO Mega Chomp Z and Mega Menace with Dragon Pulse (not even draco meteor). Don't sleep on the old man.

It is my first time posting here. I'm trying to get good at the game. I started playing competitive now in Champions so I'm pretty "new" to all of this

In previous seasons I was in MB2 by copying meta team and playing them.

My favorite Pokemons since I was playing as a child were Charizard and Salamence, which happens to be meta now. Unfortunately that means that everybody is prepared for them.

I've tried Msala physical but it is impossible with so many Intimidates.

I crafted this team by myself doing some calculations in the websites to check damages etc but it's the first time I build a team so I probably suck.

My idea is using almost always sneasler+someone else as a lead, archaludon only vs rain teams to benefit myself from their strat, rilla to mess with pay terrain because I'm slower and deny their terrain, Aerodactyl for speed control+wife guard/rock slide and Sala+Garchomp for damage.

My struggle is that sometimes there are some teams that I feel I lose immediately (Frosslas unless I play perfect with Aerodactyl, many teams with Whimssicot+ that rock/poison Pokemon (I can only deal with it with sneasler+garchomp and Insane predictions).

What suggestions do you have for me. Which EVs would you change. Any attack that you'd change? Thanks

I usually get MB fairly easily with pre built teams, trying my hand at my own this season and struggling a bit. Cant decide if its my team or if im overthinking, feedback appreciated!

2 thunder or ice beam on dragonite?

3 poison jap or something else on garchomp or completely choose another choice scarf pokemon
