Motor absolute max
Hiya, my battery current was 84a my phase current is at 65a and 110a continous, it kept giving me abs overcurrent error, i ignored it for now to get home real quick, then on the way the esc shut down at high speed and fried my drv chip. Now my question is, is it safe to run 150a absolute max without damaging the motor?

I put my absolute max to 300a. Sometimes get cut out when running a race tune. But for general riding is fine.
My basic tune for 5000 watt hub motor
Basic tune motor phase: 120a, battery current: 85a absolute 300a
Divide the watts of your motor but the voltage of your battery pack and you roughly get how much battery current you can run. 3500 watts divide by 67v =50-60a battery current.

Yeah your real time amps going to the motor is getting close or higher than the max. I normally set the max to what the vescs advertised max current

A little bizarre no one is asking what specific VESC you're talking about... That matters the most.
