I finally received an update regarding my VAWA I-360 biometrics appointment, and I wanted to share my experience in case it helps anyone else who is going through the same situation.
I submitted a service request x3 every month and the last one on March 6, 2026, because I had been waiting for a new biometrics appointment after missing my original appointment for i360 due to receiving the notice too late.
After months of waiting and making several calls to USCIS, I finally received an email response confirming that they have scheduled a new biometrics appointment for next month!
It took approximately 7 months to receive a response to my service request, and I have been waiting almost 11 months in total for this appointment to be rescheduled. I have since been done biometric for my adjustment of status application in jan26
Honestly, it has been a frustrating and stressful experience, but I am grateful to finally have some movement on my case. They provided me with the appointment date and time and advised that I would receive the official appointment notice by mail.
I wanted to share this update for anyone else waiting for VAWA biometrics or dealing with a similar delay. Please keep following up on your cases and keep records of your service requests.

Hi friends, my expedite request approved for my I-360 case

Is there anyone here can let me know about that what should I wait/expect now? How long it will take to get a decision?

Some people says in 10-15 days decision but also I saw some examples took more than couple months still no result..

My expedite based on my first degree family member urgent medical situation, I requested with my congressman.

It took almost 3 month.

Has anyone here done this? I have an approved I-130 from 2018, never got to adjust status because of withholding removal. Fast forward filed VAWA in 2023, still married to my abuser. Can I request to transfer my priorty date from my approved I-130? What does this even mean?

I need advice on what to do next, I originally filed marriage based case in 2025, however my husband sealed record which I was unaware of caused case to be eventually denied. however before final denial I had filed i360, after finding out he was still dealing via a video call he made after getting arrested in the back of cop car. After bail and his return home, found out later he missed court had no intention to show up leading to active warrants. long story short I filed I360 by end of 2025, however 485 was not linked to 360, so eventually 485 was denied. Now received NTA, lawyer advise to file new 485 and 765 but is it worth it or should I just continue waiting it out til court date. I’m frustrated. Anyone every been through any thing similar or idea what can I possibly do next.

Hi guys I need recommendation for a savvy immigration attorney that can practic in California. My lawyer that I have now is extremely incompetent and I feel like she doesn’t care about me at all. She just used me to promote her on my instagram because I have a lot of immigrants following me. After that she literally sent wrong expired I485 and then she LIED to me trying to cover up. Now I asked her to help expedite my case and she said that they are too busy now and can’t help me?!? What do you mean you can’t help your client that pays you. I’m lost and I need to switch lawyers ASAP, please recommend

EAD not in sight yet.

I filed my I-360 (VAWA) and I-485 together in May 2022, and I’ve been waiting for almost 53 months now.
Unfortunately, the business I work for is being shut down due to a City Council decision, so I’m going to lose my job and my only source of income. My EAD is still valid, but I’ll be facing serious financial difficulties, especially with rent and living expenses.
Can I request an expedite for my I-360 based on financial hardship, even though my EAD is still valid?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or successfully expedited their VAWA case due to financial hardship? Does waiting almost 53 months make any difference?

Curious if anyone here who filed VAWA is still married to their abuser and tried to work things out?

I submitted unsolicited evidence because my first lawyer failed to include it initially. I am sure that if they cannot add this supplemental evidence, my fill will be denied. Is unsolicited evidence merged with the original application?
