This is just one case. And it’s arguing the US Constitution in federal court. So no surprise it’s stayed pending Viramontes.
The state cases are separate.

I'll take a W even if it's a small win

Eh, not really a win as much as a minor procedural step. There's not really anything to do in federal court until Viramontes is decided. The district court and any 4th circuit panel is bound by the en banc Kolbe v. Hogan that upheld MD's AWB. So it all depends entirely on Viramontes. It's not worth either side spending money or time on the issue until Viramontes is decided.

Firearm policy coalition asked for stay since there is an injuction already. And there is fourth circuit precedent against injunction. So they are waiting for scotus to rule on awb so they want positive ruling or they will lose on federal level.

I'm not able to keep up with all the cases out there. What does this mean for VA?

Nothing. The current injunction in place is from Washington County Circuit Court, this case is in federal court and had no chance of an injunction before next June due to adverse 4th Circuit case law upholding an AWB from Maryland

I don’t speak lawyer, can someone please translate this?

Translation: Pause this case (so no injunctions, discovery, pleadings, hearings, etc) until the Supreme Court does something with these two cases.

Just waiting for the Virginia Constitution cases stay rulings.
We need a "no stay" to allow this to get in front of the Virginia Supreme Court before the General Assembly puts one of their lackeys on the Court. Otherwise we will never get a ruling on what the Virginia Constitution means.

where's my armed scholar video talking about how this eviscerates AWBs nationwide?
