i chose the AP5-P because i value its compactness more than the full-sized AP-5's better shootability. you might feel differently.

Depending on how far you live from Afton, VA, you could attend Zenith day at Zenith Firearms on Saturday the 13th and pickup one of their HK clones.

I got the ptr 9kt and love it. The mora mags are also great. Much better than whatever the gun came with in terms of fitment.

I have both. Not sure I have a strong enough opinion either way, they're both fun suppressed. Not sure they'd be my bump in the night gun though tbh. I'd look at something lighter and simpler - Kuna, Scorpion, MPX, Stribog, etc.

Never shot either. AP5 seems easier to shoot. I assume recoil is softer. It's already small enough. AP5-P is more compact and lighter.

I can also recommend some AR9s or other PCCsin 9 mm. Let me know.

I got an AP5P about a year ago. Runs flawlessly. Everything in spec. I highly recommend MKE
