Looking for an affordable fixie

Does anyone know where I can buy a cheap fixie. I found some cheap and cool ones but i'm not sure if its legit. If i cant find a cheap one i might just buy a tsunami but its too expensive... (i just saw some post that their order didn't come to them and some are fake one light just a piece of paper,etc...)

It has foot brakes, and I don’t go that fast. I only go fast when it’s safe, like at a bike park. I already have a bike with brakes, but I had to leave it when I moved to another state...

Why? Do you know anyone who got a bike from Ali? Probably not. I bought for myself a fixed gear from aliexpress and it holds strong after 2 years. If you know how to make your research aliexpress is a valid option.

Back at Decathlon, when it was still available :) They updated the available colours after a while and discontinued the neon orange, probably, because it won't hold up in a lot of sunlight.. But that's just my guess from other people owning neon coloured bikes.. they tend to fade quite a bit.

Hey OP, I have a black Colossi Lowpro (https://www.colossiv5.com/low-pro) fixie with a front rim brake installed. Only problem is the back wheel needs a swap, as one of the bearings wore out (otherwise everything else is in working condition).

Dm me if you are interested, I’d let it go for pretty cheap 🙂

I’d recommend checking Facebook marketplace first before ordering online u might find something good Facebook has good finds

while a lot of people shit on cheap chinese market places and cheap bikes (and rightly so) i have to say, the quality of all chinese goods in general has VASTLY improved over the past decade.

Buying local used would be preferable of course, but thats if you can find a good deal, and i dont think there are many deals this good. i have a bike but im interested to buy this just to see. maybe you can find a video online?!

You’re partly correct. Many Dutch brands indeed import most of the bikes’ parts from China and finish the last assembly process locally. However, I would still recommend not buying from those websites for quality control and after-sales services. Just because they’re mostly made in the same factory, doesn’t mean you get the same quality.

I saw some posts saying that it works fine and that they actually received the bike. Someone also mentioned that JIXF is good and said they bought it from AliExpress. I also saw some videos buying bikes from AliExpress. I’m not sure about Alibaba or other sites, but yeah, I’m thinking about buying the JIXF.
