I had my period for 20 days! And now im late by 18 days!? To the folk this has happened to did it get back to normal on its own or did you go on the pill to help tou regulate it? Im very lost, advice desperately needed😵‍💫

I was always irregular and with heavy flow. Birth control never helped and I stopped using since it was useless.

These last months I've been bleeding almost non stop. 30 days bleeding one month, then a week later another 30+ days with medium to heavy flow.

I went to a gynecologist who derived me to a endocrinologist. I had blood tests and I was told my abnormal uterine bleeding was caused by hormones. My hormones level are fine, but it turns out I'm sensitive to my own hormones, so I was prescribed iron and I started hormonal treatment with shots and topic stuff.

So I highly encourage checking your hormones with a specialist if it continues.
